The Stafford Room — Restaurant in New York

This place was horrible if I could give it a 0 I would. I went here for my friend's birthday. Promoters do a terrible job of being honest with guests as multiple parties were booked for the exact same time with limited sections leaving guests waiting for hours just to enter the venue despite having already paid for their section/table.

The "security" was rude and aggressive for no reason especially to females. He charged my friend $50 because she had on open toes shoes but said my open heels were fine. There is no dress code on their website or promotions that details what can and cannot be worn. They added an extra cost for little things and it seemed he was just giving random prices to different people. Upon entering we waited on a very tiny staircases for at least 2 hours. There is only one way up and down to enter and exit. So you have guests leaving pushing and squeezing the guest entering up against the wall on the staircase. And another "security" screaming and cursing at guest waiting to enter and at one point put his hands on a male guest trying to join his group.

Our reservation was for 6:30 and didnt get seated till after 9pm and it was a small space with unstable chairs. The food took long to come and was cold. They gave us plastic to go containers and the food wasn't even half the container. It was subpar for the the amount of money they try to force out of you. My friend and I tried to go to the bathroom and were told we weren't allowed to but when a male came up to us he said we could go and the "security" suddenly let us walk to the bathroom. When in the bathroom another male "security " came in yelling for us to hurry up and get out the bathroom.

This place was terrible you can tell they just want money and im not even sure they have the proper licenses to operate. You have to pay cash at the door but can only use zelle and cashapp once your inside....

It is strongly advised to avoid investing your money in this establishment. During a recent experience my sister had with a party of 26 people, we encountered numerous issues that left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. From the cramped seating arrangement at a table in the center of the venue, to the disorganization and lack of preparation for such a large group, it was clear that the focus was solely on profit rather than customer satisfaction.

Upon arrival, we were made to wait for 30 minutes before being seated, despite arriving on time. The lack of communication and professionalism was evident when we were greeted by a staff member who seemed clueless about our reservation. The security personnel displayed rude and unprofessional behavior, which only added to the negative experience.

Once seated, we were served by a single bottle girl/waitress, who showed little regard for our group, especially the birthday girl. The service was slow and subpar, considering the amount of money we had paid for unlimited drinks. The way our food was served in to-go containers, and the waitress calling out orders in a disrespectful manner, was embarrassing and unacceptable.

Attempts to address our concerns with management were met with indifference and a lack of empathy. The offer of a meager $60 refund for the entire group was insulting, considering the amount we had spent. The subsequent attempt to move us to an outdoor table with inadequate seating and watered-down drinks only added to our frustration.

The overall lack of proper management, staff, and resources to accommodate large parties was evident throughout our experience. It is clear that this establishment prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and professionalism. I would caution anyone considering booking here to proceed with...

DO NOT GO HERE! I agree with everything the other poor review before me stated. We arrived at 4:30, had a small party of 7, 5 out of those 7 people received their warm meal at 6:30 the other 2 at 7. We ordered "Rasta Pasta" which tasted like spicy spaghetti sauce pasta. Nothing similar to any other rasta pastas you have ever had. The macaroni and cheese - I give it a 3/10. Do not let the picture fool you. Our waitress barely returned to our table to refill our endless "mimosas" that gave me a headache for the remainder of the night & barely had champagne in it. When she did return we would ask her about the wait for our table and she would say she's going to check with the kitchen but then proceeds to run behind the bar to hang, laugh and smoke hookah with her coworkers. Once the 5 got their food, we had to ASKfor silverware which was never placed on the table the 2 hours we waited for food. The waitress stated one second and went where? To laugh with friends for another 10 mins until we flagged her down. These "Waitresses" are so lucky gratuity is already included because she would have received one penny for her services. We then asked another "waitress" why the wait for food was so long, she proceeded to tell us that the kitchen staff cooks one table's meal at a time and does the 25-30 people's table first. What type of nonsense. However when our tables food came out and was still missing 2 plates another tables food was coming out as well so they need to fix their lies/excuses up a bit more. The only good thing about this place is the nice valet workers, security guard outside and woman that collected the money at the front with the short hair cut. THATS IT.
