so the service was fast, friendly, the server attentive. I went in specifically for a Poke Bowl and got exactly what I had wanted! The poke bowl was excellent (the steamed rice under all the poke ingredients was still warm and super fresh). Although I was very disappointed with the pork dumplings (I asked her if they were or looked like wontons she said no, but when the order came it was just steamed wontons. The filling was meaty but flavor so-so. They tasted like school glue paste. The poke bowl was THAT good that it Cancels out a few wack dumplings. But That’s not the reason for low overall rating. Everything was fine until…... my little last minute dumpling purchase. I saw a little girl in the kitchen sitting on a chair with her feet all out. No socks or sandals. Just swinging feet dangerously close to the table where the food was. That skeeved me out (not the kid, the FEET. ANYONES FEET near anyone’s food is just not a good look in a restaurant). As I walked out after paying my bill, I Noticed the B rating in the front window. Had I seen that I would’ve NEVER eaten there. This is the worst dine-in sushi I've had in the neighborhood. The price doesn't match up with the quality.

The fish ranged from mediocre to awful. Some pieces just did not seem fresh, some were weird cuts, and some were oddly dry. Some pieces were barely thawed, and some were way too room temperature. Many of them you could just tell were lower quality from the color, especially the tuna.

The last piece I ate was so off that it made me stop eating the rest of plate of sushi. It left a bad taste in my mouth for an hour.

I can't believe how many positive reviews are here. You know it's never a good sign when the sushi place also has Pad Thai...

Food is average. But the staff is CHEATING on tourists. Mechanism:

You order, say, 10 nigiri and sashimi. Waitress/owner confirms she correctly remembered all the details of the complicated order.

The dinner arrives but with LESS items that you ordered. Something seems off but not that much so you are not sure.

The bill arrives and somehow the full order is there. Exactly what you ordered but NOT what you received.

In my case the difference was like 1 nigiri and 1 sashimi off like 10 items that I ordered altogether. So they try to cheat you on like 20%...
