Unfortunately, I had to edit my original review. Today was my 3rd visit to Big Billy's, and I have never experienced treatment of this nature by any place I've been to. Not only restaurants, but any place. We were seated, that went well. We ordered our Oreo shakes, not a problem. Next thing you know, we're being told to go because we're sleeping. We haven't even received a water glass yet. The guy said we "did this last time" and "you're on something else". I responded to that with " I didn't fall asleep last time." And he just continued to escort us out. How could we have been "asleep" for so long of a time when we hadn't even gotten a water?! Mind you, I wasn't asleep. Excuse me for relaxing into my husband in what's described as a "cozy and relaxing" environment! My husband had his arm around me. Our second visit was on a Wednesday, because I couldn't wait to try the bison burger. And our first time there was awesome as hell! Wonderful experience! Our waitress absolutely sucked this time and we left no tip. Once we received our meal, she wasn't really around much. She was knowledgeable on their homemade sauces, but not much of a welcoming attitude. As if she had to tolerate our presence in the restaurant. Our shakes were nowhere near as good as the previous visit. They took forever to get to our table, practically with our food. Very disappointed in that. We had to flag her down for our bill. The owner did come to our table to ask how everything was going. We told him fine, because I figured she was having a bad day, and I'd know not to have her again. But, we didn't leave a tip. I didn't fall asleep this time, or the first time. My husband has narcolepsy. Confirmed and diagnosed by a medical doctor. He falls asleep literally everywhere. Literally. He has had this condition as long as I have known him. This is a medical condition he has no control over. No one has EVER KICKED US OUT OF ANYWHERE!!!! AND TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE'RE ON SOMETHING ELSE??!!?! TO MAKE A POINT TO SAY THAT PART LOUD FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR AND SEE US BEING ESCORTED OUT?? That was so humiliating. It's ok to drink until you can't walk, but dyfall asleep!!!! Don't work midnight shift and visit...
Read moreNice, small little local restaurant in the middle of the shopping area. Quickly sat down, but service took a bit. From what was observed, it seemed they may have been challenged with staff. The server seemed to be attending tables, the bar and orders for others in restaurant. Nevertheless, she was quick and efficient with the orders. When refills or other items were requested, she responded promptly. A Ranch and blue cheese was requested and it seemed like she had forgotten about it because she did not return with it. But, a while later she did bring it to the table and as such, there was no need to request the items again. The turkey burger was bigger than expected; nice surprise. The taste, however, was ok. Perhaps it's the turkey burger in general there isn't much that can be done as far as flavoring. While they do offer gluten-free buns, they are ran on the same conveyer belt toaster as all the other gluten products. When the server was asked for more details, she stated that they do come into contact with other buns. However, the hostes did say that she was Celiac and recommended the wings and fries because these items were gluten-free, contrary to what the server stated. The server stated that everything is fried using the same oil as items that contain gluten. Because there was two versions of what is gluten-free, only the turkey burger, gluten-free bun (not toasted) and coleslaw, was ordered. A suggestion would be to have the gf buns placed on parchment paper or a non-gluten, cross contaminated plate, so that when it is being toasted it does not come into contact with other gf products. The gf buns was big and there is an upcharg for it, just like many other establishments. The bun was not sturdy and broke apart. Perhaps it is the brand of the fact that it was not toasted. From the looks of some of the other customers, their beef products seem to be very good. Next visit, that is something to...
Read moreWe live in the area and decided to try this place a few months ago. We always drive past it in the parking lot on our way to get food from Shuang Xi and decided to give it a go.We were excited to try the burgers here because of all the different options available on the menu. We were highly disappointed because the burgers were completely underseasoned and not juicy at all. I've definitely made better burgers at home, and I feel the extra money we spent on the bells and whistles was a waste. No real sauce or condiments to speak of either to make the burger pop. Just BLAND. My son has food allergies and I made it perfectly clear that no butter was to be used in our order. The bartender was fantastic at listening and very knowledgeable of the menu and made suggestions. However, although he told the kitchen about the allergy, they ignored the request. The cook was wearing a set of headphones on his head, so maybe that had something to do with his lack of focus. So after sitting there at the bar waiting for our food for 25 minutes, we had to wait an additional 10 or 12 because the order was wrong. I always make sure before leaving and they realized they made a mistake. They graciously remade the burger and fries for my son and were apologetic. I tipped the bartender even though he didn't serve me, and it was because he was so personable, friendly and cared to be as helpful as he could. But the food was very disappointing. No flavor. For the money they charge for using wild game, we expected way better! Nothing to write home about and I doubt we will...
