COMMENTS ON NEW RESTAURANT DESIGN: I feel like the new restaurant is not as business meeting friendly. What do I mean by that? I mean, it seems more oriented towards drive-thru, which is great...but many would come here for business meetings and it neglects that. Like where the bar setup was before was more INSIDE SEATING... I see a flaw with the drive thru design... it could have been pushed back more instead of forward... I just don't see the functionality of that besides dividing the restaurant for that portion.... which is great! But I just think it could have been better designed to allow for more INSIDE SEATING so people could have more business meetings inside and use the chargers for laptops or other devices. I guess one workaround could be a canopy outside and chargers outside. Likely I and others will go elsewhere for business meetings from here on out... chose here because of the CENTRAL LOCATION (International/Montague is close to West Ashley, Mt. Read moreBy far my favorite Starbucks in the Lowcountry!! It is my halfway point from home to work, so I stop every morning. The staff knows my name and my order. On the off chance an order was done incorrectly, they fix it with no attitude or excuse. Their smiles are contagious, and when it is early in the morning, and you (me) are not a morning person having a pleasant smile, and charismatic demeanor can mean so much and help set the mood for the entire day! Kayla & Johnathon are always on top of it as well as the whole staff! The drive-thru can have long wait times, but that is pretty much any Starbucks, especially when you go at peak hours! You shouldn't expect to go and be out in 5 minutes when there are ten cars ahead of you! The drinks take some time to make, especially when they are customized out of the wazoo, so expectations should be realistic when you arrive and see a long line of cars! Read moreThis star bucks was not to my level of expectations. I ordered a matcha green tea latte with soy milk light ice. Not shaken please note this is stated differently from store to store). But traditional shaken as well as a butter croissant. I proceeded to tell her that the drink wAs made as I requested. COURTNEY immediately started rebuttaling by stating I saw him make it...she failed to listen they made it again, but it was incorrect...soon after the manager intervened..he acknowledgment that he did know what was going on but offered to rectify the situation by offering the drink free of charge. I told him thanks but I will drive to the other location. COMING FROM THE ATLANTA MARKET..I AM NEVER QUESTIONED LIKE THIS. However, I did have a good experience with the manager.
