ASH Cigar Lounge — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

A good cigar lounge will always deserve a 5 star rating but you add a bar with a large assortment of excellent scotch then I only wish I could give 6 stars. Glenlivit, Glenfiddich and Macallan well I wish I could move in here. Comfortable seating with friendly people having fun and a knowledgeable host (Omar) that is comfortable giving recommendations is much rarer to find. Since I am based out of OKC now I will certainly be back. A lot of big screen tv's with a variety of programming on is great when I stop reading my book and look around as well. I might dress up next time but I don't have to. They did not look down on my appearance (which is hobo'ish), did not correct my liking to smoke to the nub or my taste in scotch which I have had happen in lesser cigar lounges. People are different but wonderful in the differences people have. I have been under Dr's care for the last year and when my Dr gave me good news she gave me an hour to eat anything I wanted to eat ((fried chicken) and cigars for 24 hours (Espinoza 601 warhead) recommended by Omar and my favorite Oliva V series). Excellent venting so your not overwhelmed by the smoke as well. This was a fine end to a horrible last year and a must stop on my rare days off. I hope for many more great days and this will be my must go stops in life ahead. Thank you Omar! If you stick around maybe I will see you here. Because as weird as I am after my news they never judged me for anything. I would recommend this place to everyone. Love this place, great spot for a meeting or just a night out. Last night however, we had a bartender who seemed to be bothered whenever we needed a drink or cigar. Her name was Summer, had a very rude domeanor. She made the atmosphere somewhat uncomfortable in the sense that we didnt want to ask for another drink. Our plans were to be there for a while, have a few drinks and hangout. Once my cigar was out, we decided to leave. In my honest opinion, she should not be working here, or any service industry. Honestly wish these guys would do well. Last few weeks they close early and no one who works here seems to care about anyone. Just always assume they are closed. If you want a cigar don’t waste your time here. Find a place who cares.

Hopefully the owner figures out things and brings on staff who actually care about customers. Currently management is clueless on how to run a cigar bar let alone a bar.

If not I’ll be excited about what next will pop up here. Hopefully someone who cares about local businesses...
