If I could give less than 1 star I would. Poor customer service. Sitting in the IHOP parking lot after leaving this Jimmys egg. We walk in and it is pretty full and you do have to seat yourself, which is fine. We have 5 people to seat and 2 babies. We stood there trying to figure out where to sit while several employees walk past, no one took responsibility or asked if they could help in any way. So we sit at the 4 person booth while one of our party is still standing. One waitress asked how many but then just walked off. So they start clearing a table and another large party walks in starts to sit there. So there was cofusion there. Then they are clearing another area, a larger booth but by then we just decided to leave. It was very obvious that we were trying to figure out what to do and there are so many people that worked there either looking at us or just walking by. So we left. I spoke with the "supervisor" who we walked past on the way in and out so he saw the whole thing. All he had was excuses and a non caring attitude. He apologized at the end but it wasn't genuine at all. I'm not usually one to complain much but this left a bad taste in my mouth or really no taste since we didnt end up eating there. Won't be going there again. Google Bob Farrell "Give 'em the pickle". I have worked in various service areas and I wouldn't treat people that way. I won't recommend this location to anyone either. Managers usually try to make things right, but he let us...
Read moreThe waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there. I asked for a condiment, and I didn't get it until about 15 minutes later...my food was cold and I was almost finished. I had to ask another waitress for water. Upon getting my check, I noticed an extra charge for the condiment (Picante Sauce) to which I wasn't told it would be an additional charge of $1.99 which is absurd. I don't know of any restaurants charge for Piante Sauce. I went to pay and ask for a Manager to inquire about this additional charge and to let him know the waitress didn't make me aware I will be charged for Picante Sauce. The Manager was very nice and apologized and removed the charge. It wasn't about the money...I could have paid it, but inform the customer of this added charge to which I don't think the customer should be charged for Picante Sauce to put on an omelette in the first place...my opinion. This information about additional charges for certain condiments could be listed on their menu, however in really small fine print that no one will see or even look for because it's something that is normally not charged. So, with that said, "Please just inform the customers of this information before hand if...
Read moreTypically I like Jimmy’s Egg no matter where I go. Maybe today was just a little off because nothing seemed right!
Maybe it was the couple across from us that decided having a conversation on a speakerphone was perfectly normal! Ugh - who in their right mind thinks talking on the phone is a good idea?
It was about 9:30 and the place was quite crowded & noisy. Add that to the speaker phone conversation and you’ve got a perfect recipe for a not so pleasant breakfast.
Neither my wife nor I enjoyed either selection. She chose the Baja Omelette and added cream cheese in the middle. Sadly, the cream cheese never had time to blend in with the omelette and was just a cold chunk which didn’t add to overall taste.
I’ve never had a Skillet Breakfast so I decided to give it a try. I chose the Farmers Skillet and was left wondering . . . . what exactly made me choose this option. I found it very bland with an over abundance of onion & green peppers, overdone eggs and a smattering of cheese.
The one redeeming value was the homemade toast!
I’ve dined a several Jimmy’s Egg and I typically have great food & great service! Like I stated maybe it was just...
