I’m going to start this review by saying that the food was amazing. We dined in as a family and the only thing I would say that was disappointing was the service from our server specifically, which defines why I am giving a 2 star overall review. We got sat down at our table by the host and our server came out and grabbed our drink orders. We did say we were still viewing the menu so we took the time to look it over and decide what we would eat. First, 20 minutes past. Then, 30 minutes. We started looking around us and the restaurant was not even half empty. This made us concerned on what was taking so long to take our orders. Finally, at 45 minutes later we see our server come out and take our orders. We don’t comment on why she took so long as we are polite and respectful and thought nothing of it. Now, as we are eating our food, we started running low on drinks and needed refills (anyone who eats hot dishes knows you need to stay hydrated)… our server never came to check on us and we had to ask the bus boy who was cleaning to help us. He happily did a great job at that but we expected our server to be the one to provide service for us. We started getting suspicious of why our server has been lacking on service. Throughout the time of eating our food, another server who was very kind (not our server) she decided to help us and give us drinks, basically she started taking over our server’s job when she was next to us. This server asked us if there was anything she could help with and she did this on her own. Obviously, the server we were assigned has some issues with customer service and with not being trained good.

We did leave a very good tip for our server in the end, only because we felt bad for her co workers who ended up doing her job. I wish that I could request a different server next time. This was my family’s first time dining at Carrabas and will be the last time dining at just this location. A lot of people have many different views and opinions.

In MY opinion,

If I am paying over $25-30 per plate, I deserve to have the best service along side that. Especially at any carrabbas. There are only few occasions in high end dining when I give grace to lack of good service . Those times being when 1- The restaurant is very busy and not staffed. 2-when there is an issue or something effecting the server doing their job. Any other time, it’s hard to know why there is a lack of good service. You pay for what you get. That’s what I...

It is difficult to decide where to begin. We visit Carrabba's Restaurant located at 5475 Gateway Village Cir Suite 103, Orlando, FL 32812 frequently. Our visit on 3/6/2022 was terrible to say the least. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. We waited for what seemed to be forever and finally some guy that needed a haircut and shower said I will be with you in a few minutes. He never took my name or anything else. When we were seated, we waited over 10 minutes to be waited on. The entire staff appeared to be disheveled. After taking our orders, our waiter Gio disappeared but I managed to ask another waiter to have him return. We were given a complimentary appetizer from our last visit so we ordered Calamari. It was not golden brown like the last Calamari we ordered but rather a cold under cooked gray. We were not given utensils until after our salad arrived and we needed to wait for the utensils before we could eat and we even needed to ask for them. The salads were soupy like they were soaked in dressing. More than 35 minutes after we placed our order, we needed to track down Gio and ask for water and my wife’s soda to be refilled. Gio never returned, Jenna a manager came over and got involved. She got our waters and soda. After about an hour, our food arrived. My wife said to check it out before the manager left. I cut into my chicken and it was very tough so I turned it over and saw the chicken was burned. My wife’s chicken was literally raw. I looked like they cooked it on one side only. The manager saw both these plates and said “I cannot allow you to eat these.” She told us the entire evening was terrible for everyone. She said she was going to contact you. Thank God she comped the entire meal. My suggestion, even though it is hard to find employees, demand a dress and appearance code and make the staff adhere to it. If they don’t the fire them all. I would better to be closed for a day or two then remain open any lose patrons forever. I wrote to the owner and they have...

my wife, me and our children were in Orlando for quick getaway 2 days only, we stopped by Carrabba's cross the street from our hotel, the hotel MGMT gave us a 10 coupon to use, the coupon was not the issue, the issue was the waitress, and her Name Victoria, she cheat us on the receipt however, I just want her to know i act like my class and in top of that i paid cash more than even you asked, see picture please of the receipt, we are total of 6 people me, wife and 4 children under the age of 10, she put in the receipt party of 8 which is fine, when she brought the salad, the salad was very old , i asked her if is it OK to replace, see receipt she charged me that on the receipt even it was already part of my order, if she said i will have to charge to replace it I would not even order it, i think because we just looked different I felt that was very low of her and the restaurant that hire such employee , Victoria I'm Microsoft Engineer, my wife Professor at the university , we act like our class and you act like yours, i read and understood the receipt correctly but I wouldn't like to do big deal of it, instead i paid even more than you asked and i decided to leave this feedback so you might read it one day or the restaurant MGMT and maybe you will change your philosophy, so instead you cheat people just treat them with respect and dont look at them down, not because we look different , you treat us different, good luck and I would not come to this place and I will advice everyone that I know not to visit this place, finally SHAME ON YOU CARRABBAS has such Employee,...

My grandson has Celiac disease, so it's important to find places where he can eat safely. Carrabba's has clearly marked Gluten-free options on the menu, and they will make their pasta dishes with Gluten-free pasta. Everything was delicious, Gluten-freeor not. We stayed at a hotel nearby and ate at Carrabba's twice. They gave us the hotel discount both times, even when I forgot to mention it the second time. The only problem we had was not being able to finish the huge dinners and not having any way to take home the leftovers. (Our rooms didn't have microwaves.) And we couldn't take advantage of their truly great deal--buy an eat-in dinner and get a take-home dinner for $10. We were so stuffed each night that we didn't even look at the dessert menu, which I'm guessing must be some kind of crime. The service both nights was excellent. My grandson got the wrong drink at one point. They left it, for free, and brought the right drink right away. Then he got a second drink as an apology. We ended up with the drinks for the price of one! It's a great place. You can definitely bring a family. We heard a birthday celebration at one point. But it reads a little more grown-up to me.
