We are visiting from Florida and stopped by the store to get a sweatshirt at my daughter’s request. She needed a shirt from the very top of the wall and the girl who helped did not seem to have the slightest idea what she was doing, barely speaking. We offered to speak to her in Spanish as we were unsure if she wasn’t communicating because of a language barrier. We finally collected the shirt we needed and went to the front to pay. There was a young lady at the register and a guy. Neither of them looked up from what they were doing to acknowledge we were there. I chalked it up to the fact that they were counting money and perhaps one of them was closing out their register. We stood there and waited to at least be acknowledged and nothing. After waiting a little longer, i look back at them and realized they kept looking up at us and looking back down, almost as if they were avoiding us. Finally, my husband makes eye contact with the gentlemen who proceeded to go to the register and stand there and stare him down. He said not a single word, not a “how can I help?” Or “are you ready to checkout?” When my husband makes a gesture as to ask what’s going on, the gentleman proceeds to rudely say “I’m just waiting for the customer to come up to check out” We had not come up to the counter because we weren’t sure where we were suppose to stand to check out but it was very obvious we were standing in “line” waiting for check out. After the gentleman’s rude response we decided to leave our items. I only give this one star because I had to. In our entire stay we have encountered amazing individuals with great hospitality, this place is not it. This is not how you conduct business. Whoever the gentleman was, he may want to brush up on his customer service skills and train his staff to also provide good customer service. With the way things currently are in the world a little kindness goes a long way just like a simple “hello” and “can I help you” do. Shame on these individuals for choosing to conduct business in such a rude way. I wish I had read the previous reviews before going as this seems to be a standard practice at this...
Read morePrepare yourself for a shocking revelation about a seemingly innocent store in Pigeon Forge, a popular vacation spot known for its serene escapism. While vacations are meant to be a respite from the burdens of daily life, this particular establishment manages to shatter any hope of solace, leaving visitors disheartened and discouraged from ever setting foot inside.
From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with an unsettling reminder that our nation is torn apart by political division and haunted by the specter of racism. Instead of finding a sanctuary where worries can be left behind, you are confronted with the stark reality that some still embrace the archaic and divisive ideologies that should have been left in the darkest corners of history.
But wait, it gets worse. As you navigate through the store, desperately seeking an escape from the disheartening atmosphere, you stumble upon the most underwhelming attraction imaginable: live sharks. Yes, you read that correctly—live sharks. However, don't expect to be awestruck by the majesty and magnificence of these creatures. Instead, prepare to be thoroughly disappointed. The live sharks here are nothing short of lame, their presence serving as a sad reminder of the overall lackluster experience that this place offers.
My sincerest advice to anyone seeking a truly relaxing getaway, free from stress and the heavy burdens of the outside world, is to steer clear of this establishment. It is a place that only serves to amplify the disheartening realities we face, leaving visitors feeling anything but rejuvenated. So, if you value your peace of mind and cherish the idea of a vacation that truly allows you to escape, I implore you: avoid this place...
Read moreWe stopped here on our way out of town for a quick souvenir. The store is packed with clothing racks so much that when walking between them you will likely hit your arm on at least 1 of them. I purchased 2 sweatshirts for my kids. One of which was on a 50% off the lowest ticketed price rack. When I went to check out, there was no one at the register. I walked down to the girl at the other end and let her know that I was ready to check out. She pointed to the register & then walked down. When she rang me up, she did not take 50% off the one item that was on the discount rack. I let her know that it was on the discount rack & her reply was short & quick "it doesn't have the 50% off sticker on it." I responded that every single sweatshirt like the one I purchased was on the discount rack. She asked where and I told her & let her know I would show her where. She stopped to talk to a man aa she walked back. The man was not wearing anything that would have signified he worked there nor was she. She quickly snapped at me that she was just talking to him really quick as I approached. She was very rude as if I had put all of these shirts there myself. She let me know she was going to give it to me BUT they weren't in the right place (like I had any control over that). First & last time here--save your time, money, and sanity by...
