Gorgeous. Great candies from around the world. I love how their planogram has goodies seperated by country. The pastel shades, the vibrant colors, the giant gold bear on the back wall. Eye candy! Then candy to actually devour. With our eyes as well as our tummies.
Excellent service. Chocolate, gummies, wafers, pretzels, chocolate glazed strawberries, truffles, marshmallow rice krispies treats, flavored marshmallow puffs, a literal wall of flavored popcorns, barks, macaroons, sour powders, licorice, Cookies & Cream KitKat, panoply of Cadbury milk products, bacon flavored dark chocolate, cocktail flavored bears, last but not least- lollipops!
They even do customized curated boxes. Did I mention how gorgeous this place looks? So all this grandeur. What is the catch? Regrettably, one should be asking "What is the price?". The premium is quite steep. One can easily spend fifty dollars and have nothing but a few specialty candy bars. I hate to be one of those patrons, which I assure they have a multitude, but for the most part it is so much more fun to look at everything and bask in all the pretty colors than pay such extraordinary prices to have it.
Now, that might be a tad unfair; I guess it is a supply and demand capitalism this crime in this country. And looks like they can get people to pay that much for imported candies. Alas, maybe it is that frugalness that has been ingrained in me since childhood. But it feels, on principle, too indulgent. Then again, who ever said that was a negative thing?
3 Stars for the regular person. 4 Stars for the wealthier. Or candy obsessives. Not going to lie, sometimes I fall into that category and cave on...

This is a California headquartered store that is not worth it.
There are two people In the store that are pleasant. The rest follow you around and donāt greet you or assist you in any fashion.
My credit card was charged during their ācredit card fraudā set up. They didnāt offer a number so that I could speak with anyone directly. Their employees had the same issues with their own cards and nothing was done. The poor employees make about $8-$9 an hour and had to deal with complaints they couldnāt fix. Lolli and Popās did NOTHING to help the North Star storeās employees help the general public except offer an email address.
Their candy is overpriced thanks to amazing overhead being in the mall. Their selection isnāt great and everything is sitting in hot warehouses before YOU get it. There are two many great local places where you can easily buy triple the amount of amazing candy than what you get at Lolli and Popās.
Do yourself a favor - support your local candy stores and stay away...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: the company admits to not collecting from the bank on authorized charges that were made 9 MONTHS AGO. Even checks are only payable for 6 months. Lolli & Pops is totally inconsiderate of the frustration itās bad business practice has caused its customers. Yes, I did authorize the charge, but to expect your customers to be ok with the money being deducted from your account 9 months later is ridiculous. Iāll NEVER be back to this store whether paying by cash or card, online or in person.
This place charged my CashApp card without my permission. $22.61 was charged while the store was closed. I spoke to the store manager and she had me sent her screen shots of the unauthorized transaction. She told me the same thing has happened to her and another store employee. No resolution as of yet, but I would not pay with a card at this location....
