First of all, I've been to Greece three times and eaten the local fare, so I know real Greek food. They have a very good salad line-up, authentic and tasty. Lettuce could have been cut into slightly smaller pieces, but I'm nitpicking. Gyros are good to excellent. Very flavorful! Fresh made pita bread that tastes great, though a little on the dry side and thicker than what I'm used to. Falafel was terrible. It was way overcooked, smashed into ultra-thin patties and halved (I prefer when they are balled), and bland. The "Greek" sauce they included tasted like regular mayonnaise. Not authentic at all. Prices are okay. I ordered the Falafel Combo and it set me back about $10. If the Falafel itself was better, it would have been a much better experience and worth the money. The owner(?)/manager offered me a free refill on my drink, and they were actively handing out free samples, so thumbs up for...
Read moreWent there to get a Gyro and salad. I got my salad first the guy didnt ask me but poured some dressing on it and it was so sour I only ate a few bites. I went back to get my Gyro to go and the cook and the counter person began to fight and cuss each other out. Then the cook wrapped my sandwich and threw it across the counter at me. I was really upset and asked "Did you really just throw my sandwich at me??!!". The guy at the counter was shocked how rude the cook was. I left went home and the pita was cooked so much it was IMPOSSIBLE to eat. I could not even call the number on the website no one answers and then the message tells you VM has not been set up. SMH You will see me in the morning and I wont ever eat there again. I used to like it. WELL THE DUMMY COOK FROM LAST NIGHT WAS FIRED AND THE MANAGER APOLOGIZED AND GAVE ME ANOTHER GYRO AND IT WAS...
Read moreWas excited to give them a try till the register displayed $35 for 2 gyro "combos". Fries, salad, drink are all considered extras. So technically no combo offered here. When my order was ready, they lady at the counter abandoned it and walked away to continue her conversation with another employee before I could say or ask anything. The gyro was terrible. Included Wilted lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no sauce, the feta, and over processed meat which resembled a microwaved banquet meal textured. Left a distrusting after taste and immediate heartburn. Wanted more soft drink to wash down the flavor but found that my $35 didn't cover a freaking refill. If you want Greek food,...
