Checked out Happy Pokey recently — it’s a tiny, takeout-only spot. The menu is super limited, and it’s one of those places where you fill out your own order on a piece of paper.
I went with half rice, double salmon, pickled cucumbers, carrots, seaweed salad, and corn. The flavor was fresh and tasty, but the bowl itself was definitely on the small side compared to other poke spots. The salmon didn’t quite feel like sushi-grade quality, and for $23, I expected a little more. They do throw in a small soup, which was a nice touch.
