I’ve Been To This Place About 7 Times Now. It’s Always A 10/10. Today I Sadly Can’t Say The Same. Upon Arrival, The Vibes Were Off. I’d Hate To Be The One To Make Race An Issue So I Won’t Make An Assumption That It Was Because I’m A Person Of Color But We Weren’t Greeted. The Cashier, Seeming Uninterested In Taking My Order I Didn’t Think Anything Of It. I Put In My Order, Gave Her My Stamp Card, And Told Her My Name. I’ve Always Been One To Tip Even If All The Person Did Was Put An Order In. When My Order Was Ready. I Heard The Girl Come From The Back And Say “How Do You Pronounce This” The Cashier Shrugged Her Shoulders. So As She Sat Down The Bag, She Said A Name Aloud That Started With The Same Letter But COMPLETELY Different. Nowhere NEAR My Name. She Walked Away And We Were Just Sitting There. I Made Eye Contact With The Cashier, Hoping For Confirmation. She Turned Her Gaze Away From Me. So My Partner Asked Was It My Order, To Which I Replied, “I Don’t Think So” So We Sat There For Another Minute. Staring At The Cashier Because No One Claimed The Bag. She Made Sure To Not Look Our Way Just Staring In To Space Not Even Pretending To Be Busy. My Partner Got Up And Asked Was The Bag Ours, And She Said Yes. As We Walked Out The Door She Went To Where We Were Sitting And “Fixed” The Couch Cushion . If I Could’ve Taken My Tip Back I Would’ve. As If I Hadn’t JUST Gave Her My Name, If She Forgot, No Biggie But To Sit There And Not Acknowledge Me Is Disheartening A Simple, “Hey, I Misspelled Your Name But This Is Yours” Or Simply Brought The Bag Over Considering NO ONE Else Came In Behind Us (Someone Has Brought My Bag To My Seat Before) Moral Of The Story. My Smoothie Bowl Was Great But If You Come In And See A Dark Brown Curly Head At The Register? Leave...

This coffee spot was right down the street from our hotel during our weekend getaway to Savannah. Visited both days to get our morning joe fix. To be honest, if I were to write this review based only on our first visit it would have undoubtedly been 5 stars. On that day the barista was very nice, the coffee was fantastic, especially the cold fashioned (a cold brew take on the old fashioned that was strikingly reminiscent of the cocktail) and the cold brew with peach foam (what an idea and executed perfectly). The butterscotch latte was also great!

Based on this great experience we decided to visit again the next morning and our experience could not have been more opposite. Its as if we accidentally walked into the Clyde Market of the upside down. There was a different barista who had a scowl and an incredibly off putting demeanor from the minute we walked in. She seemed quite perturbed that we took a couple of minutes to decide what coffees we wanted to try this time (even though we were literally the only ones in there) and to top it all she nickel and dimed us out of a free lunch on the loyalty card. She somehow managed to transmit her bad attitude into the coffees as well because they were horrendous across the board and tasted nothing like the ones we had the day before. We all threw them out before we even got half way through. It was really unfortunate that we had this negative experience since the earlier one had been so good. 3 stars would be a fair assessment because day 1 was a 5 and...

Man, this place was such a letdown. It was a steady decline from the time I placed my order to the time I left. Sloppy staff. Never got my coffee order and my smoothie bowl was the worst that I’ve ever had.

I came in and ordered. First thing I noticed was that the baristas had no system of service. Watching them work was like watching the Three Stooges…just all over the place. They were out of drip coffee, which is self-serve, so a backup pot should have been ready. I was told it would take just 5 minutes for them to brew a pot. It was a rainy weekday morning, so they were only busy with socializing with their friends at the counter and bickering about who was going to finish what task. My smoothie bowl had frozen toppings and was just half-blended and nasty. I was really hungry so I just gnawed through it. Meanwhile they NEVER brought out fresh coffee, until almost 20 minutes later, I went to the counter and asked for a refund on the coffee because I was ready to leave. Then the girl goes “oh… I thought we brought it to you.”😑

I left and walked all the way over in the rain to another shop...

Where to begin... First of all, Clyde Market is not only a coffee shop, it is the heartbeat of Savannah that rejuvenates those who sip its nectar each and every morning. Clyde is a community, one where people of all backgrounds, whether striped shirt polo guys or eccentric artists, can gather and relish in a palpable feeling of unity over a perfectly steamed latte. If you care to understand remarkable beauty, take a step through the double hinged doors and meet Maddie, a top tier barista who brightens my colleagues and my day every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Maddie has a personality that shines so bright, it almost warms the coffee itself. If you're looking for an experience you will talk about for ages, please give my friends at Clyde a visit.

I LIVE LAUGH LOVE THE CLYDE MARKET. I spend so much time in this coffee shop and never get bored of. A great spot to get homework done, meet with friends, hold a meeting, etc. Madie and Anyah are my absolute favorite baristas and if you get the opportunity to have your coffee/Sammie/smoothie/ or bowl made by them you will be wishing it was a regular occurrence. Consider this your sign to visit for a minute or all day !! Also like have your event here if you’re feeling adventurous, promise, you won’t regret it.

Definitely not a coffee place. The wait time was 10+ minutes. I ordered cortado and got this (on the photo). They poured too much milk, it was overheated almost to the boiling point, and it had a lot of foam on top. Basically, it was a very mediocre cappuccino. I visited the town and visited all top rated coffee places on Google Maps. This one was the most disappointing. If you want a coffee, I would recommend another place. The breakfasts look solid though (didn’t try).
