My husband took the initiative on the venue search for our dream destination wedding in Savannah. He definitely saved the best for last after a weekend of meetings with numerous venues and wedding planners. Our last walk through was at The Clyde Venue and a meeting with Mallory. Afterwards, we had no hesitation that this was our perfect venue. Not only did The Clyde Venue offer an all-inclusive package they handled directly through contracted vendors (ceremony site, ceremony seating & decor, officiant, security, trolleys, flowers, reception decor, food, alcohol, cake, music, lights, linens, and more), we also received the most amazing wedding planner in Savannah, Mallory Adams. We’re from Orlando but Mallory made sure to stay on top of everything through Zoom calls and emails. She made sure she was available to meet with us in person when we were in town. I had some ordering issues with Ets* scams that weren’t delivered, but Mallory saved the day. She was on top of everything from day one, and also made sure every contracted vendor was on point with our requests. She addressed all concerns we had, and always promptly responded to both of us. Pictures on theclydevenue.com are hardly an expression of how amazing this venue is, and they definitely cannot describe Mallory and her unbelievable expertise as a wedding planner. If you’re looking for a modern venue within the Savannah historic district, or an all inclusive package without the wedding day stress, or a superb wedding planner, than look no further than The Clyde Venue and Mallory Adams. Thank you so much Mallory and The Clyde for creating the perfect memories of the best day of our lives!!!

As the bride and groom, you want to believe that your wedding is the best that anyone has ever been to, and that nothing will go wrong, and that everyone will have the time of their lives. Of course, we tempered our expectations -- knowing that we'd be happy no matter what, but that something often goes wrong on wedding days, it's hard to please a large crowd, et cetera, et cetera. With the Clyde and with having Natalie and Mallory as wedding planners, we had the most perfect, wonderful day. They made the whole planning process feel so easy and the actual day itself feel seamless. The amount of stress they (and their wonderful team!) saved us was so incredibly worth it, especially considering we were planning this from states away. I had many questions (and so did my dear dad), and I appreciated their patience, flexibility, and speediness with their emails. Our guests were full of compliments: The food was delicious, the music was fantastic, the venue was lovely, and it felt like such an easy, love-filled day - this is all thanks to the team that Natalie + Mallory had assembled. I cannot recommend The Clyde enough!!! For a wedding venue, any event (seriously, they even do line dancing and thrift expos!), or even just to grab a coffee - this is the place to go.

Approximately two-three months before our wedding we had to make the decision to change our wedding location from Asheville, NC due to COVID restrictions. A friend suggested The Clyde Venue and man was it our saving grace! Mallory went above and beyond AND in such a short time to make it absolutely wonderful. Our wedding day was literally STRESS FREE thanks to Mallory. She set everything up, coorodinated, and cleaned up. We had our ceremony and reception here. The picture is brighter than in person- it was such an intimate and romantic atmosphere. It was everything [I didn’t know] that I wanted. You could also say that Mallory risked her life for our wedding. Something happened where a piece of pampas grass in a arch turned table setting caught on fire from a candle and she grabbed the single piece with its 2-3 foot flame and ran out the door with it before the fire alarm could go off! Everyone still talks about how she saved our wedding and it’s a great story! We had several people tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and it really wouldn’t have been possible without Mallory!

I am writing this in the hopes of preventing another couple from experiencing the disappointment we did on one of the most important days of our lives. We picked this venue because the sales manager, Natalie, was amazing. We liked the location and wanted something downtown. From the time we met with her we thought this was the perfect venue. A month prior there was an incident with the owner, Mallory, who was so unprofessional and disrespectful and tried to verbally threaten us, and this coming from the person who says, ‘When you come to the Clyde, it’s my goal to make you feel as welcome as my own family would be’. If it wasn’t so close to our wedding date, we would have paid any amount to get out of the contract with a place where the owner treats a client so rudely. We were verbally attacked because of something that was not even in the contract. A major disappointment was the food. We had a food tasting and afterwards we decided we wanted to change some things that we did not like. The chef never got back to us on this matter, and we let Natalie know this as well. Our simple requests weren’t executed on the day of the wedding. At our tasting, the scalloped potatoes were good, but at the wedding they were awful with a greasy batter. At this venue they cannot keep the meals hot. There is no actual kitchen. We wanted chicken fingers and fries for the kids; however we were shocked when we were asked to provide this from my father’s business. We were aware this was a plastic only venue, but we were not aware that there would not be water at each place setting. It was a huge inconvenience to guests and made for a long line at the one water station. There were white marks/stains on the tablecloths before anyone even sat down. The vegans received cold pasta with what looked like canned spinach. It was small and bad presentation. When asked if it could be heated up, after everyone had been served, we were told no by the server because the bowl had a metal rim that could not go in the microwave. Then Natalie came over with an attitude and told us the same thing. When it was asked why they can’t put it on a different plate, she then changed the story to we have lots of people to still serve. The vegans had no problem waiting and were once again met with a still cold dish. Clearly there is not a microwave at all, which is fine, but we felt they should have been honest and apologized for serving cold food. The bar ran out of club soda, beer, seltzers, some of the wine. There was no sour mix. Many guests complained of the bartenders and servers being rude. Plates were taken without people being finished. At the end of the night, we were told our flowers were going to be used for an event the next day. We hope this review will help save others from having their...

Our wedding was the absolute best day of our entire lives all thanks to The Clyde Venue! The Clyde provides a unique space that nowhere else in Savannah can provide you. As a DIY bride, I admired the open layout with sleek, modern, yet neutral features and ESSENTIAL wedding furniture that ensured my guests would have a place to be seated and enjoy- without me having to outsource for the basics (i.e. chairs, bar, tables). More importantly, the staff at The Clyde is the most accomodating and professional wedding vendors I came across when searching tor a reception location in Savannah, not to mention, incredibly affordable and very worth the investment. Mallory, the owner, was so welcoming and inviting to her beautifully curated venue which in part led to our decision to look no further and book The Clyde for our Savannah wedding! Natalie, The Clyde’s go-to gal and coordinator, is quite literally the best in the business. She communicated with me so frequently and professionally, and allowed me to pursue the wedding of my dreams, no matter what design or idea or silly “hey, can we do this?” question that I threw her way. I can’t overstate how cooperative and flexible both Natalie and Mallory are with customizing your wedding- and I promise you that is not the norm for Savannah venues per my experience! From the event layout, to the add-ons (if you’re considering the trolley… do it) to the smallest details, and the incredible bar services (if you’re considering the open bar package… do it!!), The Clyde was such a dream. Natalie curated the wedding reception of MY DREAMS with what I gave her to work with, and I can say with assurance that I have absolutely no regrets about the day. I could have bursted into tears of joy to see the incredible custom and special reception venue that was put on display for our wedding. Guests have boasted to us for weeks saying that the night was one of the most fun and beautiful weddings they’ve ever attended, and that was exactly our goal!!! Seriously, The Clyde provides an experience that you won’t find anywhere else in Savannah and the staff, especially Natalie and Mallory, are simply unmatched. I hope every bride can experience this bliss of feeling like they found the absolute best venue and vendors! The Clyde will forever be so special to us for the rest of our lives and I urge you to pursue this venue if you’re considering! You really won’t find a better place in Savannah to celebrate the best day...
