The lady behind the counter taking orders is really nice and makes you feel welcomed. She even takes the time to greet you with your name after paying using your debit/credit card and calls your name when your order is ready. I ordered the bento special (4 california roll pieces, chicken teriyaki, a small side of salad, and choice of gyozas, egg roles or 2 shrimp tempura over steamed rice. The portion is on the bigger side for a $12 bento dish, but the food is just mediocre. The chicken was bland, spongy, and not very appetizing. The light teriyaki sauce drizzled on top didn't do any justice to make it taste any better. The ingredient didn't seem fresh. This place is small and only has a total of 13 chairs. The service was great but no so much the food. I probably won't go back again since they couldn't even get the...

Spicy teriyaki. Every time. Everything else I've had is good, but this is the best on their menu. You can't beat the price either... the portion is incredibly generous and it's under 10 bucks. Unique and different cabbage salad and vegetable sides are served cold and very refreshingly light. Spice level is probably 1.5 ish -- it's not that hot. However, it tastes fantastic. My favorite spicy teriyaki because it isn't marinated overnight in sugary teriyaki sauce.

This could easily be two meals if you have the mental willpower to turn down more delicious bites -- I don't. I just expect to eat a lot every time. Customer service is extremely friendly. Food...

Great small, local hole in the wall type spot. Only reason I’m taking off a star is because the appearance of the place, no seating and no bathrooms. But to be honest not much of that is their fault. Put that with the fact that their food is good, but nothing incredible, I felt it got a 4 star in my book. (I really want to put it as a 5 star believe me) But besides all that, super friendly place, with a huge menu with all the things you would expect plus more. Definitely recommend, I try to come here weekly as its in my area. (which is another thing, the...

I strongly and highly recommend Bento world ! I didn't expect much. Because I remember being disappointed in a fancy Japanese restaurant before. But Bento world’s foods are really cool. I picked it up and had it at home, but I provided more than we expected. Especially, I will get chicken teriyaki for meal often. I am little bit sorry that there was no special sauce in Salmon Don, but I am satisfied anyway. I would say that they are more friendly than any other fancy Japanese restaurant :)

Food is fresh. Location is convenient if you live downtown. Got my food ready within minutes. I was lazy and Ordered the 10 pieces nigiri combo for 29 including tax. I think it’s a bit pricy given it’s a take out only place. But next time I’ll take the time to pick out the nigiri choice I want instead of going with the combo. I’ll also try their teriyaki as it seems to be more cost efficient with good reviews.
