I went there for my first time with a friend and was very excited. As soon as we came in the atmosphere was great, we looked around and everything was clean and seemed fun, music was good too. Then we got to the bar and our bartender Alex started to make the experience worse. Sure she seemed friendly with what they seemed to be regulars, but in this type of business you can't pick and choose who your gonna have good hospitality with, and it very much seemed like she had something against with me simply for being a guy which made me feel uncomfortable. I went around to the food area and the 2 girls working there completely helped me stay because they were very helpful and smiled and were filled with energy and knowledge about their menu. And to top it off, we ordered 3 things and EVERYTHING was delicious, specially the red pozole. So I didn't tip my bartender because she also forgot to pour me a double shot since I had to get up and get all my drinks from the booth as well. I gave all the tips combined for the full experience to the gals in the food area. The whole establishment was amazing. Just not alexs treatment and lack of mobility to bring us our drinks...
Read moreChanging my vindictive review, having been here a few dozens times now, it's a good place.
They have several dozen pinball machines, and standard prices. $8 beer and 75 cent pinball. Seating could be a bit better, they have two very interesting micro booths, besides that nowhere I really want to sit. As it is I almost always stay standing to play pinball the whole time, so not really a place to relax. But that's fine if you are trying it primarily as an arcade.
The only real negative is for some reason whenever there are multiple tiers of a particular pinball machine, they always seem to have the lower tier - Jaws machine without moving shark, Godzilla machine without collapsing building, James bond machine without missile tower second level. Not sure if this is just a supply demand thing or a choice they made. A few of their older machines are struggling and not kicking nearly as hard as they should, monster madness and Addams family to start. All in all tho even with the downsides, one of the top pinball...
Read moreWas a great place and atmosphere I bought a Rainer beer tall boy can and did not tip because I pay after all of my drinks have been purchased throughout the night, depending on how long I stay! I was playing pinball and finished my first Rainer, when I went back to purchase another beer. I asked the female bartender for a Rainer and she started to work on that but told me I didn’t tip, I told her that I might be waiting for my next paycheck or don’t have the money at the moment to tip, she replied that it is rude to not tip and that I was rude and why would I be buying a drink if I don’t have the money. I said it’s my money and if I’d like a drink I could spend the money, I worked for it! I then told her that she could get fire for calling me rude for not tipping! Then she kicked me out after saying she didn’t like her job threatened and told her employees I’m banned! I need a manager to talk to get it resolved or I’ll be contacting...
