Nordstrom Grill — Restaurant in Seattle

One of the best spots in the heart of downtown Seattle to stop for a good lunch. After working downtown for many years, the Nordstrom Grill (men’s floor) became a go to spot for a decent lunch. It has a way more chill and cozy vibe than the Cafe on the top floor. The best item on the menu, in my opinion is the sesame Asian chicken grilled salad. Their version of the salad is a little larger than the one found in the cafe. The dressing is what makes the salad so good, a sesame vinegarette. Nordstrom Grill is a restaurant and bar inside of some Nordstrom locations. They usually have a set menu and a rotating seasonal menu based on their chef at the time. The location downtown is on the bottom level and pretty easy to get to. There have a good amount of seating, the staff is decently quick at orders and food/drink delivery and there are an ok amount of options on the menu. Pricing tends to be on the higher side, but the taste is actually pretty good. During lunch it's usually.packed from employees, so late lunch or early dinner is best so you can get a table...

I come here regularly for lunch and we love the food. The menu does have seasonal changes, but they do have a solid set of staples that don't change (at least not in the 1+ years I've been coming here).

The seats are comfy, staff is BUSY but always accommodating.

I think my only gripe is that it can get LOUD in there at peak lunch time. It would be nice if they added some acoustic tiles in the inset ceiling to help make it a little more intimate and a little less...
