Snowflake Chocolates — Restaurant in South Burlington

I was looking for gluten free chocolate for my daughter in law and was told snowflake chocolates was the place to go! I'm here for my daughters wedding from Atlanta and drove from Burlington to Jericho to buy some gluten free chocolate. The salesgirl read off which chocolates were gluten free andd showed me exactly where they were. So I was very excited to buy my daughter in law several varieties as a gift. When I got back to the hotel and read the ingredients, they ALL said "this product may contain wheat." THIS IS NOT GLUTEN FREE IF SHE ATE IT, IT COULD HAVE PUT HER IN THE HOSPITAL It was negligent for Snowflake Chocolates to misrepresent their products saying and selling chocolate to me after I specifically asked for gluten free chocolate, was assured it was gluten free when in fact it wasn't. Do not trust this store and I will make a formal complaint to as many people as I can. This could have turned out very bad. Valerie

The staff was friendly and the prices are competitive to other local chocolate shops. However, the quality of the chocolate wasn't what I'd hoped for. I also saw someone getting free samples and didn't think it was fair that I wasn't offered some too, since I was the only other person in the store.
