Sidellis Lake Tahoe — Restaurant in South Lake Tahoe

My husband is a proud Mug Club Member here and I probably would be too if I wasn't trying to watch my hips lol! This place is walking distance from our house, which is a huge plus. This quaint but lively brewery is our second home. We absolutely love every single staff member here, every single beer here and their food it phenomenal! My husband particularly favors the Irish Stout and I the Cadillac Sour. Just when you think all beers start tasting the same, I've truly never had anything like these ones. The Cadillac is aged in a tequila barrel for a year, very tasty and I hate tequila. I also love the Browner Sour and their other inventive sours they've created.

My husband and I are huge fans of the Brewben Sandwich which is uncontrollably addictive, for a healthier side you can substitute the chips for salad which is delightful. I am currently debating on walking over there now for dinner LOL! It's tucked into a tiny shopping center behind the DMV, hilarious. Unfortunately they do not have a speaker inside for you to wait and listen to your number being called 2 hours later. They are a proud LGBTQ friendly business with local events hosted there sometimes.

Sidellis is also extremely dog friendly which melts my heart! They have a ton of fun games to play, including the original Nintendo video games located behind the bar (free of charge, just ask). I've been debating whether to post this review, as I have friends who work there and I really did like the place. Unfortunately, we had a MAGNET in our food. Like I said, I didn't want to post this but the way it was handled by the manager in particular was kind of infuriating. He wanted to still charge me for one beer. The amazingly kind woman who was also working just let me not pay anything and she would cover my beer because she was legitimately embarrassed by the situation, like the manager should have been. She even asked me to not post a review on yelp in offering to pay for my drink, but Because the manager didn't act more concerned, I decided to post...

What a great time this place was! We stopped in for a beer after hitting a couple other breweries. This dog-friendly place was extremely comfortable and welcoming.

Tried a variety of the beers, and I have to say all that I got were very tasty. Between my husband and I, we tried the brown, the amber, and 3 of the sour beers — including the Darwin Sour Series. The current batch was the BlackBerry milkshake and I have to say it was delightfully refreshing.

I have tried a lot of sours in the past few years, including at some renowned sour names… and I have to say that these rivaled some of the best sours I have had.
