We have been to the melting pot probably five times in total, maybe a little more. Been a while since we came because we did have previous bad experiences. I was getting emails and it sounded good for our anniversary so we decided to go. I was able to book the special promotion where they had rose petals and candles on your table and you had a private area. I did appreciate that and their communication in the booking process. They had a little signed card there and it was very cute. I did not know however that this option being a couple dollars more expensive than the other four course option limited me to only choosing the classic meats. That makes zero sense that I would be limited to classic meats when I was paying the same price and a little more and I would have had other options available at the normal four course. At that point it's like go ahead and take your rose petals back and let me choose what I want. So that was a little upsetting although she did let me sub out the pork for chicken, but that's not what I wanted but I didn't want to pay any more at that point. I love that they have non-alcoholic options here and mocktails as well as non-alcoholic beer. I will say that the booth felt a little cramped and the experience did not start out good as it was about 25 minutes of us being seated before we got any drinks at all including water. Right when we were about to find someone to ask for water our server came and said she was wanting to get our food started and she would go get our drinks. That was not a very good start however her service did get better over the course of the meal. The food tasted fine I will say it is a little high price for what they are giving you. The experience overall was good and we had a good dinner. I just don't know if we will be back for a while. Melting pot charges fine dining prices but the experience doesn't always match.

Restaurant Week is still going strong, and we were so excited to finally try The Melting Pot. My kids absolutely loved the hands-on experience—from appetizers to dinner to dessert—it made the whole meal much more fun. We originally didn’t plan on getting dessert since they served us so much delicious protein that we couldn’t finish it all. But in the end, we gave in—and wow, it was worth it! My daughter is already asking to come back for her birthday! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed. And even though the restaurant was packed when we left, the booths made it feel cozy and private. Here’s what we tried: ✅ Mac and Five Cheese Fondue ✅ Chicago Deep Dish Fondue ✅ Caprese Salad ✅ Meat Lovers Fondue ✅ Vegetable Fondue ✅ Chocolate Explosion Birthday Cake (a must-try!) We have to come back to try the different cooking styles for fondue! So far, we’ve had Mojo and Cast Iron Grill, but next time, we’ll be trying: 🔥 Coq au Vin 🔥 Court Bouillon 🔥 Bourguignonne If you haven’t been to The Melting Pot yet, put it on your list! It’s such a fun and unique dining experience—perfect for a special occasion or just because.

I went here for my birthday and it was a pretty great experience. I went later in the evening, so there was very few people. We got seated almost right away. The booths are comfortable and feel intimate and cozy. My partner and I chose a three course meal, appetizer, meal and dessert. For our appetizer was the spinach and artichoke cheese dip. The server helped prepare each dish, which was pretty neat. The cheese dip was pretty great, I'm a sucker for spinach and artichoke. Our second we chose a jerk style liquid for our meat. The meat pieces were pretty great, they also have timing for each piece to make sure theyre cooked well. The dessert we had a turtle style chocolate sauce, which was great. May have burnt myself a few times getting too excited. The dessert options had fresh fruit, and different things like blondies and brownies. A lot of the baked good options didnt hit as well, the fresh strawberries and bananas were fantastic. Not sure if they were old since we came so late in the day. Overall not a horrible experience. Its very pricey, though, at almost 300$ with tip for the 3 course. I wish it were a little cheaper. But we left full and satisfied.

I'm giving it a 2 star rating tonight. My husband and I have been there numerous times we try to go once a year to every 6 months. Tonight we went on a double date with my brother and sister n law. The service was terrible. Our reservations were at 645 for a double burner because 2 of us are allergic to seafood. There was another group there also with believe or not the same first name for same time reservation. We checked in 15 minutes before them and when I heard my name I went up and asked is that for us and we were told no they were here first and they have the same first name I said ok and left it at that. Finally at 715 we got seated and waited for about 10 minutes and our waitress came over to take our order and we order water. Well 25 minutes later still no water and an hr after our reservations were supposed to be. A guy came over and asked if we had been helped and i said we havent seen our waitress since we given our water order. He said im the owner and i will make sure this gets taken care of and smooth sailing from here. Well needless to say it was not smooth sailing from there. Waitress finally gave us our water 10 more minutes later and took our order. She came back with our non alcoholic drink we order and forgot things in our drinks, spilled some of my suster n law drink on the table and napkins and didnt even clean it up or offer another napkin oh and we asked for straw so we had something to mix the sryups up in the drinks and was told we they are a safe ocean place and only give them if asked but everyone around us got straws in their drinks when they order and didnt have to ask for them. After the cheese she tried taking the bread from our table that we were eating.Once our main course came out we didnt get spoons for the sauces, only one bowl of veggies, and one spoon to scoop out the potatoes, zucchini and mushrooms, when we had 2 different burners with 2 different kind of cooking styles and 4 different kind of 4 course meals. We waited forever for the spoons, and veggies, and never got a refill on water until the waiter helping the table next to us asked someone to fill his water glasses then they filled ours. The chocolate was taken and served by someone else who we saw more the our regular waitress, 15 minutes later our waitress dropped off the bill and filled our water and came back within 5 minites to collect the bill which is the most we saw all night and thought oh she really wants to be paid since she was back so fast. We never had such bad service here until tonight and the only thing we got comped for was our first round of non alcoholic drinks. It makes me not want to come back and I usually love this place but after tonight it was the worst and a bill over 200 dollars and we get comped for was our non alcoholic drinks because it took so long but what about the rest of the meal that was screwed up or our waiting so long when we were told.itnwill be smooth sailing from waiting so long for drinks. I dont expect for the whole meal to be comped but only the drinks i...

For starters I understand New Years for any decent restaurant is busy, I get that, I really do. Which is why I made reservations. Being that it was New Years eve, and we wanted to get out of dinner in time for fireworks, I booked our reservation at 9:30 PM. We arrived at 9:20, to be told they were 30 minutes behind, but since we were checked in, if we would like we could go get a drink somewhere else(because there was no room in the bar-because they were dining guests in the bar), that they would call us when they were ready for us. So we go, come back 35 minutes later, and after just a couple minutes of waiting, finally get a table, in the bar (totally fine-we are both of age). However, after the gal seats us, turns our little hot plate on, gives us our menus and some fun New Years activity sheets and says our server will be with us in just a minute. Unfortunately almost 30 minutes pass before our server ever makes it to our table, and I had to get the attention of the server at the table next to ours, in order for our server to even get told to come to our table. I was patient, my husband told me to be patient, someone will come, but 30 minutes? I don't care how busy you are, that is 100% unacceptable. No one even came to take our drink orders. The people at the table next to us, sat down after us, and had had a server (or other person) at their table three times before I got their servers attention and had to ask her if we could get some service, and yes I said exactly that, "can we get some service?" Because at that point I was extremely irritated. So an hour after our scheduled reservations, we finally got some service. I picked the 9:30 reservation time, so that we could have our dinner, then make it to the park in time to see the fireworks. Instead we had to watch the ball drop on the TV, and didn't finish our meal until 12:30 AM. The food was good; the kid who was our server was okay, he could have been more attentive to try and make up for his "tardiness". Our server is lucky I was in the restroom when he brought our bill back after running our card, because I would not have given him a full tip- AT ALL!! But my husband had already added the tip, totaled it, and signed it. Other than a brief I'm sorry we're busy when he finally made it to our table, there was no apology or free drink or discount--Nothing to try and make it right. Since it was a late reservation, the fact that we were seated and served so late, and we were seated in the bar, it was fairly mellow for a bar atmosphere. But because of how the whole thing started, we won't go back, I will not recommend them to anyone, especially not ever during a holiday event and leave this unsatisfactory...

Edit: we received a gift card from the owner and came in again and did two four course meals. We had amazing service and the food was fantastic. We discovered the previous waitress did in fact serve the cheese wrong and did not add the flavors at the table as she was supposed to. The salad was great, fresh and not wilted. The main course is always delicious, and you can’t go wrong with the chocolate. The owners went above and beyond to make this right and it is greatly appreciated. Thank you!! My husband and I love to go to MP for our date nights. We have always been satisfied with our food and service. We came in last night and the service was fine but the food was not. You have changed so much since we were there in May for Mother’s Day. The cheese was not good at all, it tasted like cheese whiz and looked like it too. The waiter used to make it in front you, then it was changed to making it in back and added the flavor at the table, now it comes to the table completely premade. There was no beer flavor, garlic chunks, or Worcestershire flavor what so ever...just dark orange greasy goo. You don’t give the same portions for dippers as you used to, so we had to keep asking for more in order to finish our cheese. My husband used to love the artisan plate and you changed that as well and doubled the price. The variety, portion and quality of the aritisan meat is nothing like it used to be. Taking away meat and adding in crackers, mustard and fig jam certainly doesn’t justify doubling the price. Our salad was brown and wilted around all the edges and drenched in dressing that also seemed to have been a different flavor. Your main course was still good, but all the other changes take away from the overall experience. It all seems down graded in quality. You even took away one of the simplest things, buttermints at the front desk!?! Why make all these unnecessary changes to what was once a good thing? Very disappointed...don’t foresee us returning...
