The Bagel Authority — Restaurant in Spokane

Got these via delivery through uber, so I’d hope service would help in-person for some of my negatives. Tbh, bagel sandwiches are kinda mid. Ratios were off for the lox sandwich. Should have more cream cheese at a bare minimum, there was honestly barely any at all on the sandwich. Other sandwiches logically would have cream cheese on them (as they’re bagel sandwiches) but don’t. Would recommend making that clear in the descriptions on the delivery apps. In person I’d hope/imagine that’d be more clear though.

I’m sure in-person these aren’t issues, but from a delivery standpoint pretty mid. They held up well despite a long delivery time through uber (not their fault) which is a positive. The 3* is because they have one person working Sunday morning and it's super busy we were there for almost 2 hours most of which was waiting and while there several people left the line. We had never been so we stuck to it. The food though is really good just a bit greasy that gets soaked into the bagel. I had the Real McKoy and my husband got the Denver. We ate in shop and it was so loud with a constant line, we were almost done with our food when he got his hash brown. I got a rainbow road cereal bar which was pretty good, just very sweet; main complaint there is the staff member just threw at me from the shelf holding the cereal bars across the counter and cooking station to where there first table is on the left of the cash register area. STEAMED DELICIOUSNESS!!! Great place to eat for EVERYONE in the family! My kids are so picky and this place got the thumbs up from all of us! The bagel sandwiches come out warm and delicious, melting the cheese to perfection! We saw this place on KHQ news and had to try it! The meats are hand sliced daily and I would recommend The Vandal, Five Mile, The Cougar and of course the Pepperoni for kids! Great downtown location with big windows, lots of seating and one block from Nordstrom!
