Placed an order for pick up at the local store. I specifically chose an item that was stated as āin stockā at the Spokane location and after order was placed it stated I would get an email when the order was ready. At any other store, when I ordered something for same day pickup, I would be able to pick it up a few hours after it was ordered⦠Well, after placing the order late at night- I went to bed, went to work all day and come 9pm when I still hadnāt received a notification that my order was ready, I contacted customer service. They told me to give the order up to 5 business days to be ready. I explained I made the order specifically for an item that was supposed to be available for same day pickup and wanted to pick it up from the store. I asked if I could go down to the store in the morning and just have them pull the order for me, at that point it would have been about 36 hours since I placed the order. The customer service rep told me I couldnāt do that and to give it up to 5 business days. When I asked If I could cancel because that defeated the purpose of my same day pickup order, the rep basically argued with me before finally allowing me to cancel. I love Free People clothing, always have and always will⦠but this was not a good experience. If a store offers same day pickup then that is what they need to offer. Iāve never had this problem with any other store that offers this service. If I wanted to wait 5 business days I would have just ordered any item off the website, without only focusing on the items that were āin stock and available at the Spokane storeā and then had it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store has a really dark vibe.maybe because they use slave labor to make the extremely expensive items?was shopping around because we just got paid on Thursday August 12 at about 7pm both employees were āfriendly ā in that fake way they train you to treat people they think donāt have money.i asked where a necklace I saw in the window was, instead of telling me where the jewelry was the girl in the green pjs walked us over and stood there watch us shop the jewelry.Btw it was a cute tiny pouch necklace, made out of plastic faux leather for $40.00. I showed a different employee that they had a really dirty shirt on the rack, she seemed annoyed at me.idk, in the shop I work at we sell second hand clothes and I would be embarrassed to have dirty clothes on the rack ( it happens! I apologize for not noticing and offer it half off) was odd. I was not comfortable enough to shop long enough to buy anything because they were following us around the entire time being so phony It was gross.Just remember, you donāt know what kind of people have money to spend.I honestly think my husbandās tattoos made them stereotype us. This store charges prices that locally made and with ethical morals charge, yet they use the worst sweatshops and if you try to look into this corporation they donāt disclose anything. They donāt even say where the items are made on the website. If you care about other humans and the planet...

This said, Iāve long intended to take the time to recognize an ELITE group of individuals whom Iād place upon the āGold Medalā platform any day. They ALL stand well-above the rest, at the FP Spokane, WA store.
Please forgive me if I unintentionally leave anybody āunnamedā (love my brain), because I have come to LOVE & ADORE all of āMY peopleā at FP: Emily, Haley, AmandaRea, Cameron, Rachel, Val, et.al., cultivating relationships that arenāt a āput onā. Iāve even been āremindedā here and there, āyou know you wonāt wear thatā LOL; a clear sign that Integrity and Intentions are above all else. I know that there are goals to meet and bills to pay. Thank you all for the intangibles-giving me a āliftā just by being present, your collective time and genuine interactions EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit; never amiss. The clothes are an added bonus. I give you all a million STARS.
Backstory: I discovered and fell in love with the FP Brand 15+ years ago. Their Brand(s) cater to the masses (all shapes and sizes), uniquely designed (just like our fellow humans) and the clothing I truly...
