I liked Brian's a lot. We went there for the first time just this last Monday on the 28th and I was really glad they were open on Monday since so many places are closed on Mondays in the Winter in downtown Stillwater. Our waitress was very friendly, but not fake, bubbly friendly; just regular friendly (does that make sense? I hate bubbly friendly). I can see the management/owner pays attention to detail; the little things go a long way. I ended up getting a spicy chicken sandwich, which was very good; it came with chips and the chips were seasoned fantastically. It's the little things; they could have served me worthless, plain old chips, but they didn't; they gave me an actual delicious side to my sandwich without up charging me. Another little attention to detail thing, a nice benefit, was the Splash Hog they had in the urinal; I had never seen one before; they could be like any other place and just throw in a urinal mint, but they went above and beyond (the Splash Hog worked too). The place is nice and clean, I liked the galvanized pipe lamps mounted on the tables; not a fancy and ritzy place. We'll be stopping by...
Read moreThe bustling atmosphere of this bar and restaurant is a testament to its popularity, with a bartender who can juggle 50 customers single-handedly, albeit at the expense of personal interaction. Nelly's charm and skill, more apparent on a quieter night, clearly earn her the local accolade of 'perfect bartender.' The establishment's design, with its playful array of games across various levels, adds to its allure, despite restrooms that hint at modesty rather than luxury. The culinary experience seems to match the venue's vibrant energy, with a chicken quesadilla that impresses both in taste and presentation, rounding off an experience that's as dynamic as it is delicious. And you never know when you'll run into interesting characters, like a man with a pet rabbit, adding a touch of unexpected charm to an already...
Read moreWe booked the third floor last Saturday night for a pre-wedding line dancing party for approx 70 people. I can't say enough good things about the service and the bartender. Sarah helped us with the menu, floral delivery, music, selecting our bartender (shout out to Giulia) and every detail. She was responsive and helpful every step of the way! We planned the party from NC so her responsiveness was especially appreciated. The taco bar was very tasty and the cheese curds were a big hit with our guests who had never had them before. Suggestion would be to make sure you have name tags for your guests to prevent bar crashers from creeping up from the floors below - worked like a charm. Can't say enough good things about Sarah, Giulia and...
