I was at the Stillwater Farmers Market this weekend and stumbled upon this cute little ice pop stand! It was quite rainy and not ideal ice pop weather but it looked appealing so I checked it out. The gal who I presumed to be the owner was super friendly and recommended I try the Avocado Ice Pop aka âLittle Hass on the Prairieâ (love that name). I wasnât sure what to expect as she said âit might sound like an odd flavorâ but it ended up being stellar!
You get the richness from the avocado and a hint of lime which all together honestly reminded me of something similar to key lime pie. I also loved that these ice pops werenât icy and had more of a creamy texture to them. They run about $5.50 an ice pop so definitely on the premium side.
