Sonny's BBQ — Restaurant in Tifton

Absolutely delicious BBQ! Now, the only con I can think of is that their coleslaw is a little on the bland side, I personally am a fan of vinegar slaw and dislike sweet slaw, so I get they had to go with a happy medium, I won't let that effect my rating, though! Also, their banana pudding could've had more Nilla wafers, but it wasn't bad to me.

This dinner was a scrumptious redemption from the terrible dinner we had somewhere else the night before. Much needed! The baked beans were packed with flavor, the pulled pork was pretty good, a bit on the tougher side but it could've been the cut of meat, still tasted great paired with the Smokin' sauce. All 4 of their BBQ sauces were great; Original, Smokin', Sizzlin' and Sweet. And the brisket was divine! Fall apart in your mouth and just so good.

Our server was amazing and very attentive. She was very kind; I don't remember her name, but she was a soft-spoken lady. :) She checked at our table very often, which is a plus because plenty of places do not do that. If you're going to tip anywhere, this is definitely the place! We will be back...

I come eat at this establishment couple times a week since you guys opened and last couple times service has been terrible and i have waited to do this review because i was hoping your establishment was make up for bad service. Well my wife and i come in today at 5 a guy sat me down i was waiting for my wife to get there, sat there for 15 minutes my wife got there and still not a soul asked what we wanted to drink what to order nothing. And where they sat us down at was close to the back and there had to be 5 people working and literally talking about how they were trying to adopt a kid and all kinds of fun stuff but nobody wanted to feed us so we left no one said hey wait and your establishment was so dead at first i didn’t think you guys were open so it wasn’t they were too busy it was no one wanted to help us. With that kind of service you guys won’t be open long people will stop coming we told our family and friends they have had similar experiences there lately so we won’t be...

Rough Start and wait time, but waitress (Connie) was quite nice and attentive.

My party of 2 arrived at Sonny's around 12:45. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait for a table. At 1:11 I asked the hostess if there was an estimated seating time since it had been over 20 minutes, and she said "oh yeah, I can seat you right now.'

We quickly ordered, both of us getting BBQ sandwiches, one with fries and one with broccoli. The waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks filled for the 45 minute wait for our food. At around 1:57 our food sort-of arrived. My broccoli was absent and my sister's sandwich was missing the bottom half. Connie quickly fixed both of those things but after an approximate 45 minute wait I was really expecting the kitchen to put out a complete order. The food was as expected but the wait time just wasn't worth it. I would just come prepared to wait.
