Perkins Restaurant & Bakery 1564 Blue Lakes Blvd N, Twin Falls, ID 83301
Today’s breakfast was at Perkin’s. There were seven of us that showed up. We all had the Country Biscuit Breakfast that came with a big biscuit with sausage gravy, two eggs, hashbrowns or country potatoes and choice of bacon or sausage for $8.25. We all were very impressed with the biscuits. They were light and fluffy and tasted homemade. The sausage gravy was very good with chunks of link sausage in it. All in all the food was very good. But the best part was the service and the free huge pieces of peanut butter pie, chocolate silk pie and banana cream pie that the manager brought out for us to try. When we walked in we were immediately greeted, and because we had called earlier to let them know we were coming, they had tables set up for us. Our server was very friendly, we received our orders fast, and the manager came over to make sure we were happy with our meal, and he definitely scored points for the pie. We have given Perkin’s a rating of 8.5. Elevation 486 is still in the lead at 9. Have to mention that we had friends from our Shuffle Inn days there today, and had great conversation. It was nice reminiscing with them. Next week we will meet at IHOP at 10:30.
We rate these places on a score of 1 to 10. One being food poisoning, and ten being so excellent that we want a...
Read moreI was thoroughly impressed dining at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. Food: The Everything Omelet was a delightful blend of flavors, featuring diced grilled ham, crimini mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and American cheese. It truly lived up to its name, offering a rich and satisfying breakfast experience. The Big Country Skillet was equally delightful, with a hearty combination of pork sausage, Applewood smoked bacon, smoked ham, American cheese, and cream gravy served over crispy smashed tots. I particularly appreciated the diverse and savory flavors in this dish.
Service: The service was exceptional, with a waitress who went above and beyond to cater to a friend's severe egg allergy, ensuring our dishes were prepared accordingly. Her pleasant demeanor and patience in handling our large group of 12 contributed significantly to our enjoyable dining experience.
Ambience: The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and comfortable, and our seating arrangement, tucked away in a corner, provided the perfect setting for our group to enjoy a leisurely breakfast together.
Cost: Considering the quality of the food, the attentive service, and the inviting atmosphere, the cost was reasonable and definitely worth the experience. Perkins Restaurant & Bakery comes highly recommended for a satisfying and pleasant...
