If a person checks in for curbside service and there are 4 customer service associates assigned to the customer pickup counter - please know (according to the young man working at the pickup counter) curbside check-ins are not monitored. Nor will any employee (from the department managers, to the person who might be monitoring the outdoor security cameras, to the cart runners, to the dude doing the Traeger Grill demo) be conscientious enough to take it upon themselves to apprise the curbside customers of the situation, inform the pickup counter of the people waiting outside or better yet - take it upon themselves to rectify the situation by either assigning someone who can or simply do it. Example, one man had been patiently waiting for about 30 minutes; but it never once occurred to any customer service associate to either approach the customers waiting or inform the pickup counter of the customers waiting in the stalls. Another patient customer had been sitting there for 15 minutes with a child and multiple pups in his car - very obvious as to why he chose curbside pickup... As for me, I waited for over 15 minutes until I asked the gentleman next to me - "How long have you been waiting?" "Coming up on 30 minutes too long" "Really, I guess you are way more patient than I" Not having a mask, I did not want to enter the store but I had no other option. I approached the back corner of the pickup desk, was told by the young man, there were only 4 people so no one was monitoring curbside pickup, he said sorry many times whilst the other associate next to him gave me 'stink eye' - I had every intention of being politely understanding however after that conversation and that look - what little patience I had left - grumbling out of my mouth, mostly in the form of four letter words. I went back to my vehicle, informed the other patiently waiting customers - Hey, when there are 4 associates working the pickup counter, they do not monitor curbside pickup services. I watched them enter the store, the young man had to leave his pups in the vehicle (keep in mind, today was very hot); pretty sure they did not have masks like myself. Instead I went home, waited an hour then cancelled my order. After years of enduring everything from having my car window mysteriously punked (most likely by another customer loading 2x4s), to bordering on consistent lackadaisical customer service, to hunting down supplies among the dreadfully messy shelves, to sale / promo items being out of stock, to the asinine delivery fee of $79 for bulk items and now this experience - I will never again shop at this location. Maybe another location or an online order (free delivery) however I will never shop at the Twin Falls...
Read moreMy husband and I call Home Depot last night to the pro desk and got a quote for a fence. Very nice guy on the phone we spoke for about 10 minutes and he asked questions and was very detailed and helpful and we tell them we will be in the following day, afternoon, to pick it up. They say just come to the pro desk and everything will be ready and they can get it together. Ok we are very hopeful at this point. We show up to Home Depot at around 1:30 PM and we walk in to the Pro Desk and it’s empty and there is a lady checking people out there aisles down with a single customer. So we wait for her to finish and she looks around as if she doesn’t even see us. I said excuse me could we get help at the pro desk and she says someone will be there shortly. She gets on the intercom. 25 minutes go by and still no one. By this time 4 associates passed by us and never asked if I was ok if I needed anything until I walk over into the tool section and a man asked if I needed help finding a tool. I said actually I’m waiting for the pro desk and he said oh ok they called for that. They will be right there. Ok they show up 25 minutes later and we start getting help. Very nice associate, very helpful and he grabs our list of supplies and we go to our first item. We needed 273 item they only had 137 on the floor and the associate says I have to go on lunch, so and so will get the rest of the items and be right with you. We wait another 15 minutes and the other associate shows up and then asks exactly what it was we needed. He then left again and it took another 20 minutes before he returned with the items. During this time we decided to go retrieve the other items we needed that we could remember and then that said sale associate said oh got your stuff ok by and left. We went to go check out and oh my goodness she was not very nice. We had to ask her if we could get help unloading some of the items and she replied do you want help or not. We replied if you have somebody free then please. We did not leave Home Depot until 3:30 PM and we didn’t even get all of our supplies and it was $150 more than what was quoted. As I was returning the carts into the store a lady walked up to another lady and said your late for break you need to go. Where is the...
Read moreWhere do i begin? Ordered appliances online and it took 4 weeks for them to arrive at the store. Took them 2 weeks to schedule our delivery. Their 3rd party delivery system where they give you a 30 minute window during a 14 hour time period is neither convenient nor feasible for people that have full time jobs out of state and family that isnt close enough to meet that time frame. They were not willing to give us any info on the time of our deliver even though we called several times to inquire and even had them place in their notes that we would need atleast an hour notice. We made our best effort to get info they could have given us but didnt. The delivery company, well thats another story. Wish i knew who they were to make sure i never do business with them. The delivery drivers contacted us 15 minutes before their arrival and i told them it wasnt enough time. They said they couldnt wait 30 minutes for my father in law to arrive and left. I contacted a manager at home depot who seemed to want to fix the situation. She said she'd make sure we got our delivery today. 4 hours later, i was never contacted by her or the delivery drivers. Called home depot back to go through the whole process of explaining our situation over to find out the delivery drivers told home depot they would not take our stuff back out. We live 15 minutes from home depot. It was a simple drop off, no installation. These people do not have the customer in mind nor take into account people's situations. I dont feel like im expecting more than i should here. The new person at home depot i just spoke with couldnt reschedule my delivery for an entire week. Now we will be making a trip home to pick up our appliances and spend time and money getting them to our place when this should have already happened. I am not pleased with home depot or their delivery system. We've been loyal customers for years and after this mishap we will be going elsewhere with our business. Obviously they dont care...
