Because I work there are great places fairly clean the problem is the food is terrible that's because of preparation or delivery or packaging but because they overall design of like the burgers I never thought I could get any worse and the price is too high. Look I've been going to McDonald's my whole life and I'm 59 and I know McDonald's is the number one landowner in America. Give us a product that is justified for the cost I don't care about inflation that seems to be the cause from poor management and future planning. Take for example Arizona iced tea before the pandemic Arizona iced tea a big hands 99 cents plus tax now the later stages of the pandemic and the inflation and everything else everything is twice as much Arizona iced tea is 99 cents so don't tell me this is not the fault nobody else makes the price of those burgers sometimes shareholders and people for the good of the corporation have to do without dividends. But giving your customers a decent price for food and a better quality of burger for god sakes do investing in your customers there was some locations in Newport News in Hampton my God you can go there 6:00 in the morning no shakes no frappes sorry the machine is down 11:00 in the morning sorry the machine is down 2:00 in the afternoon I'm sorry the machine is down 4:00 in the afternoon I'm sorry the machine is down this they don't sell ice cream I don't know why. Would you make sense to have two machines so that one was down the other one was up. A shake is nearly $6 same with the frappe. You have to realize McDonald's and all across the board all manufacturers and people that break through market have double the price and our pay has not. I know a few entrepreneurs that are drooling right now because they have the opportunity to steal large quantities of market shares. Read moreThis was not a visit that I was expecting only because I usually do not dine in. A friend and I went in, and she got the Fish-fil-a large combo with sweet tea, and I got a Fish-fil-a sandwich only. She asked for no tarter sauce, and I asked for extra. I also asked them to make them fresh so I wouldn't have to wonder if they were fresh or not. We sat in the dining area for over 15 minutes, and a lady asked us if we had received our food yet. We both shook our heads and said no, and she was baffled to where our food was and why it was taking so long. Yes, it was lunch time, and the drive-thru was around the building, but inside was only us and 3 other people. She came back out 5 minutes later and apologized. My friend opened her fish, and hers had tarter, mustard, and mayo on it. Mine was to my liking. BUT, we came together and I was not going to eat in front of her and she had tea to drink only! So, the lady said that they would remake them both and it wouldn't take too long. She brought them out within 7 minutes, and her fries were not fresh. At this point, I had no patience for this, and I asked her, "What is going on?" She was the Mgr. and said that they had an influx of door dash and drive-thru orders that the cook was simply overloaded and offered us a blizzard. Well, my friend took one, but I can't have sugar, so I was fine. My issue is going inside to eat is not like when we were kids! They pay no attention to the customers, and they are understaffed at a time when they should have plenty of people to handle a lunch time! Nevertheless, I will not be wasting my time in this establishment again. It's just not worth it! BTW, a combo for her was $17.29, and my total was, I believe, $6.14! WOW, I know it is expensive to eat out, but McDonalds has taken it to a whole other level of...
Read moreWe visited the drive though at this Mcdonalds on 4/23/18@2pm. The line was six cars longland it took 8 minutes to reach the payment window. Once at the food window we were told to pull into drive though wait spot #1. Then 2,3,4 and two other cars were in the waiting que. It took twenty minutes to get our food which by this time was unsatisfactory...cold. My other half took the the food inside to complain and was meet by a black girl in a white shirt and tie. Management? Ater complaining about the food the management girl said... in public... "Don't be bitching at me" then said "Get off the crack"...walking to the back of the counter. Supposedly management material ??... Really? This is how you address your customers?... Over your failure to promptly provide paid for food... After almost a 30 minute wait... You get cold food. What is wrong with this Mcdonalds? What is wrong with thier management talking to customers like this? Just about every time there is a line... Long wait times... Subpar food due to this too. So I called the complaint number on the receipt and they promptly logged the complaint saying the district manager would call me. So, now working on three days later and no action on McDonald's part. I hope corporate reads the way thier "management" talked to us, over thier fail at "fast" food...She needs to be fired...period. More like snail paced food at this location. My advice, find yourself a McMcDonald's that is not super slow and won't cuss you as we have after this. If I could, they would get negative stars.
