Went there 2 times in 4 hours and both times the same issue. First visit 6:00pm Got to the front tand I was told to scan the QR code on the table and place the order. Ok great. I scanned the QR code put everything in the cart and I try to pay and the pizza didn’t went through, I was told the manager decided to turn the all pizza off because of the game day, I told them that I had the pizza in the cart, nope sorry. Ok let’s order slices, this time I can’t checkout not just me even the server tried with my phone. Try to Get some help and finally after already 20 minutes someone decided to take my order on a POS system and guess what, the all pizza is up again so I order all pizza and 3 drinks. 20 minutes go by nothing no drinks no pizza I start asking and finally got the drinks and after 30 minutes and after asking to 4 different server if they can check on my order we got the pizza. Second visit 10::00pm walked in try to order the same pizza Togo, again with the same story we are only slices ok fine give me 8 slices Margherita Togo ($25 vs $40 for 8 slices) less then 5 minutes I was given all pizza room temperature not hot. Andy I love your pizza I drive from Annapolis to get it, I visit almost all your stores this one was my worst...

The manager there does not appreciate customers. When I ordered ahead today at 302pm for 530 pick up. However I wanted to do an earlier pick up at 5pm so I called the restaurant. I was told that I could pick up at 5pm so that's why I showed up at 5pm. The person at the counter remembered me and said they are working on the order and said I should wait for 10 to 15 minutes. So I waited more. Then I went in again and the manager started saying that I was being unreasonable for asking for order at 5pm because they got the order at 458pm. I showed him the email and call record that I called in earlier and I have been waiting here. He didn't care to listen to me but kept repeating and yelling at me that he doesn't care because he got the order at 458pm and there is nothing I can do about it. How about showing some sympathy that there was a mix up and they are working on the order? None of that. He said he is busy and yelling voice is his normal voice. What a way to treat a customer or another human being. Great that he has a busy store because I guess he doesn't have to be nice to people. I won't...

Food was fine. The management? A masterclass in how to repel paying customers.

Visited 6/30 with my family. I purchased food from this place, went to sit outside with my kids to eat food that we also brought as they were young, and was swiftly told by the male manager that we weren’t allowed to use their benches—even to eat the food we bought. Why? “Health code,” he claimed.

Apparently, that code doesn’t apply to the couple seated with two dogs or the homeless man sleeping at another table. Must be a very selective health code—or maybe just selective enforcement by a manager on a personal power trip.

When I asked for clarification, the manager puffed up and declared, “We own the whole block. I make the rules.” Ah yes, the classic small-business-turned-kingdom complex.

If you’re a family, don’t expect hospitality—expect hostility. Unless you’re a dog. Or asleep. Then you’re golden.

This wasn’t just poor service. It was petty, power-tripping nonsense. And if this is how they treat paying guests in public, one can only imagine what’s happening...

Andy’s Pizza in U st is wayyyyy better. The slices at this location are consistently small, paper-thin and burnt to the point that the crust is mostly black/charred. It would be ok if they didn’t charge $5/slice. They never have any of the specialty pizzas. And they close earlier than their posted hours and make you wait outside in 20 degree weather to place your order and then wait for the pizza to be brought outside to you (even when there are still dozens of customers inside at the bar). Last call on a friday night is at like 11:15 pm (I got there at 11:30 and was told that they already had last call and they couldn’t let me inside) apparently, even though their hours say they’re open until midnight. They just don’t seem to be trying to be either a bar or a pizza place. Wouldn’t be sad if this place closed and was replaced with something better. Can’t really give them stars for atmosphere or service when they make you wait outside in the cold in February at 11:30 pm.

The pizza here is delicious, like the best I’ve had in DC. But the logistics of ordering food here are confusing and annoying. Firstly, the guy at the front asked for my ID, I told him I wasn’t drinking and I just wanted pizza. So he pointed me to this window at the end where I can just order pizza. Great. Simple. Only problem is, that window has never been opened again in the times I’ve gone back in the future. I understand that this is more of a problem with America’s stupid drinking laws, but it’s still very strange. Then another time I went, I walked inside and I tried to walk over to the area where the pizzas are on display, and some staff member yelled at me for standing there. Like, I need to see what I’m ordering before I order it?? And he said you have to order at the bar which just makes no sense at all. To the owners of this establishment: just make it easier for people to order pizza if you want to advertise yourself as a pizza restaurant. Thanks.

I ordered delivery to a local hotel. When the food arrived, the delivery guy was texting me in Spanish. I had to translate everything to figure out that he was supposed to be outside, but when I stepped out of the lobby, nobody was there. There is nothing else in this area, so I don’t know how he got confused about where to deliver it. The delivery driver’s vehicle was a scooter. It was only about 60° outside, and he just had the pizza boxes strapped to the back of his scooter. They were not even in a bag to keep them warm. My $39 delivered pizza (ONE PIZZA!) was cold and rubbery as soon as I received it. Complete waste of money. EDIT: And now I’ve woken up at 1:30am with terrible diarrhea. Probably food poisoning! TLDR: I had to go outside to find my delivery driver, and my $39 pizza was cold from being on the back of a scooter with nothing to warm it. Woke up later with food poisoning.
