The Envision Bistro at NICHE — Restaurant in Wichita

This was my first time here so was not sure what to expect but really enjoyed visiting. The dinning area is very open and relaxing. The staff was friendly and inviting. When I say I was not sure what to expect, the ordering process was a bit of a surprise. My suggestion is to place your order online. The menu is small but very sufficient, after all who wants to read a book to decide what to order for lunch? I ordered onion soup and a bierock. Let me say if you like onion soup you'll love this thick rich soup with all of the sweet onion flavors. The bierock had a soft sweet bread that just melts in your mouth and the meat was so tender and good. However the meat might be a little rich tasting for some people; I think they might have used curry for seasoning which can be a little rich but when paired with such good bread made it delicious. Absolutely incredible lunch spot! The Envision Bistro is truly an amazing addition to downtown Wichita! This is supporting WSU Tech culinary students and getting them experience and it’s so impressive to watch them work together in the kitchen! It’s fast, delicious, and has awesome atmosphere. There’s plenty of seating for big groups, you ordered yourself through app or self service, and you get a notification when your order is ready to come pick up at the pick-up desk. Walked there from the convention center and was thoroughly surprised at the quality of this restaurant! It is bright, open, and had an incredible menu. I had the Thai noodles with chili crisp and a crispy egg, and it was delicious. Their ice cream dessert was also fantastic! See photos for food & description. Ordering is done via Toast online or through a kiosk up front. Food is brought out and put on a counter, then you are texted when it is ready.
