When first coming into CJs bar and grille it looked nice and clean and welcoming. It was weird how pushing together two tables next to each other to fit a group of seven was against policy but our waiter asked and was told it’s okay so once the tables were together we all got seated so it was off to a good start. We order our starters and got the nachos it’s crazy tho how you have to pay extra to put meat on the nachos cuz how else would you eat nachos, well I found out it was horrid the most bland nachos I’ve had, it was just tortilla chips with queso not even melted cheese, to top it off it looked like mfs just threw olives and jalapeños on it and called it a day. We also had the egg rolls those were good with the sauce it came with and the garlic parmesan wings now they were fire I can’t lie so that’s definitely worth it. Then we got the main course, I had ordered a Bacon mac & cheese burger and I went half way with eating it but it got to a point where I couldn’t eat it no more. The bun was so damn dry it was sticking to the bun and mac and cheese, the patty was dry not juicy at all meaning it had no flavor not even salt or ketchup could save it. The mac and cheese was bland and dry as well as the bacon. The seasoned fries were okay. I ended up leaving half the burger and damn near all the fries on the plate I could eat that food the chef needs to get it together and do better. Our waitress was nice tho I can’t complain with that. The bathrooms were fine except there was no soap. I’m big on food so if they can get that fixed they can become a 4...
Read moreTried the new location above the mall this year. Service was quick however the kitchen held up our entrees. My wife ordered the watermelon spritzer which was missing it's main ingredient basil. Not worth $12. I had a house margarita which was good. I had the 5 mile chicken entree. The cheese and balsamic were tasteless reducing it to chicken with red pepper. The mixed veg was overcooked and probably frozen. The mashed potatoes were really good and garlicy. My kid had the chicken quesadilla. The chipotle aioli was either missing or flavorless. We added salsa...
Read moreIf you want flavorless and overpriced food, come here. Recently went in and got the penne allá vodka pasta with shrimp priced $30+ for it. For that price I expected something delicious but instead I got a cold flavorless pasta, the shrimp tasted weird and could definitely tell it was cooked separately or barely if any. I didn’t even want to take it home to fix it, there’s no way of saving it. Definitely do not get the pasta or any overpriced item on the menu because I can tell you it will not...
