We traveled all the way from Korea to eat here due to a famous Mukbang Zzyang. My elderly parents were with us too. We liked the Wild West decor. We arrived at 4:24 pm and we were the first ones to arrive since they just opened. We orders 2 sodas and waited for our T-bone steak, rib eye steak, western spaghetti and salad. Another family that arrived 15 minutes after us got their food right away. We thought it was because their food was premised since it was the huge tray of bbq meat. At 5:20 pm, an hour later, we asked when the food will arrive and they said 10 more minutes since the kitchen is cooking for the saloon as well. At 5:35 pm, feeling hungry and frustrated, when asked about the food again they said they lost the ticket and now half way through cooking it. One waitress said they thought we were there just for drinks while the waitress who took our order stood right next o her. What a joke. We left as they weren’t taking responsbility of the delay and expected us to wait longer for the food. The waitress taking our order was rude and gave attitude that we couldn’t be patient. Continuously told us to wait 10 more minutes. We said we are on vacation and don’t have another hour to wait. So bye. We ended up eating at the cruiser diner with better service and huge beef ribs.

Service- 0/5. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted. When we went to the front to get a table, the lady was very uninterested, sitting on her phone. We asked if we could get a table, she handed us the menus and said “you can go there, I’ll be with you in a minute.” We went and chose our spot, waited 10 minutes. We went back inside and asked if we should order inside , she said she’d be with us in another minute. She finally did take our order Food- 1.5/5. Mac and cheese had hair (see photo). Meat has no sauce. Extra half point for the amazing bbq sauce (I want to take a bottle home). The pulled pork was good but cold. Wings were plastic-y. Corn was good when doused with butter and pepper. Soft drink was $3 (I can get a swig drink with extra syrups for less than $3). Messed up our bill, make sure to check before you pay. Only compensation offered was to remove the Mac and cheese (which is bare minimum) This was recommended from the Grand Canyon railway. I would not come back here

I’m really not sure if my review is for Wild West Junction or the Long Horn Saloon. The full menu was being served out of the saloon, so here it goes. The place was packed and loud because the D-backs were playing game 3. We had to select our own seats and then compete for attention at the bar to get menus. The bartender was trying to do it all - host, bartend, bar back, and be a waiter. She also seemed to enjoy socializing as a bartender the most. The experience felt a little odd. It took a bit of time to get our drink order. The local hazy IPA is really good. The chicken sandwich was excellent, and the calamity Jane was well made, but it could have been toasted a bit more as the bread was a little soft by the end. Overall, it’s a decent place that caters to tourists and out-of-town visitors, but it seems best suited for locals. This is good for a bar but maybe not so good for a restaurant.

We went to the Wild West Junction after a train ride from the Grand Canyon. The outside of the place looked like a place the kids would like with an old west theme. We tried opening the door to the place, but a man came to the door and said the dining area was closed but go around the corner because they were serving their food out of the saloon the rest of the day. So we went around to the saloon.

Just an FYI, the "saloon" does not keep up with the theme the outside of the place would suggest. It was just a small bar like you would find anywhere else. There was 1 bartender handling the whole room. There were 4 tables to serve and about 3 guys at the bar. She was very nice and helpful.

Our appetizer arrived in a timely fashion (the rib tips were very good) but our dinner for four took well over an hour to arrive, and I can't say that the meal was worth it. Clearly the kitchen was understaffed or new or something. I can't remember what everyone got. A few burgers, I think. I got the brisket. It was fine, but not something I'm raving about to people. Everyone ate and we split.

When we were done, we were just tired after a long day hiking and got in the car. On our way out of town, we saw other spots on route 66 in Williams that we had wished we would have gone to instead. Felt like a wasted opportunity at such a historic part of the country.

Again, the bartender was very helpful and nice, plus we liked the rib tips. But if they tell you to go to the saloon for dinner because the main dining part is closed, I would suggest going down the street to another place. This place isn't what you want on a vacation for a family dinner.

That said, if I was staying at the hotel across the street and I needed a drink, this place...

This place was awesome. It's old and small but has lots of character and the hospitality here is tough to beat. They didn't require a credit card to hold my reservation which is rare. Got there paid in full for my 3 nights in the Hacienda Suit. It was perfect for all 6 of us (2 adults, 4 kids) with the queen air mattress we brought. The included breakfast was in their restaurant and not continental. It was what ever our choice was off their regular breakfast menu. The food was great. If you enjoy a night cap the Saloon was a great place to have one. Decent prices, great selection of beer and drinks. It's where the locals seem to go and those are my kind of places. The owner made his rounds frequently asking how our stay was and if there was anything we needed. While preparing to leave he made one final check with us. I explained we were thoroughly satisfied and would be staying next time we were in town. His response "We may not be a Hilton, but we sure know how to have fun!" and thanked us for our patronage. I have to agree with that statement. Sure it's not luxurious, it's better. It has old route 66 character. The rooms are well kept and clean. The complaints in other reviews are from those who didn't get it. These were all things meant to add to the theme of the rooms, not half ass repairs or lack of maintenance. Again everything was great and we plan on staying there on our next trip. I'd highly recommend this place unless your looking for a fancy...
