This restaurant is at one end of town in Williams , AZ. There is a parking lot, street parking, and is within walking distance of many motels. It is just across the street from the Safeway grocery store. It has mostly outside seating and looks very festive with their orange table umbrellas. They let you choose your own table in the patio area, but we had to go place our order inside at the bar. They have a self-serve soda machine that you can get your drinks after you order and pay. You can also get refills. They give you a number to place on your table and the server will bring you your food when it is ready. We ordered the Platter for 2. It came with 3 ribs, 2 meats, 2 sides, and 2 corn breads for $30. We picked the pulled pork and brisket and had tater tots and smoked beans. The food was very good. The meats were all cooked nicely and the the meat on the ribs just fell off the bone. They have BBQ sauces on each table that you can add to your meats. The corn bread was also good, not too dry. πŸ˜‹ This restaurant is also dog-friendly with leashed pets. 🐢 There are also lawn games set-up around the restaurant like corn-hole/bean-bag toss and a giant connect-4 game for kids and adults. They played country music. It is decorated with giant western art like a bucking bull and a stagecoach which make great photo opportunities. They also sell bags of gemstones that you can buy while enjoying a man-made water-feature that lets you pretend that you are panning for gold. If that doesn't fit into your budget, they also have a penny-pressing machine that only costs 51 cents to get a shiny Route 66 penny souvenir. πŸ˜€

Frontier BBQ & Beer gave an authentic vibe of the small town feel. It offers outdoor activities such as gem panning (for $10-$40) and complementary corn hole and ping pong. Indoors offers a dollar bill operated IR shooting gallery. The atmosphere was cozy but the temperature was a little cool. You may want a warming layer indoors on a cold winter night. Frontier's BBQ was on point. They offer 3 sauces to match the accompanying personality of the patrons; spicy, gold, and sweet. It is self seating, so grab your table when you arrive then get in line to order. While the table service was attentive, ordering dinner was all done at the bar. This created a bottleneck and a bit of a wait. The QR codes for ordering are only to place to go orders. If these were active for table service it would make for a smoother dining experience. All in all, if you are craving BBQ, the food was worth the wait.

I am The Foodie. I came highly recommended by a local resident. Well it decor was good. Let's start with the jalapeno corn bread loved it and after that we had issues let's begin with the fried pickle. They were tasteless had absolutely no seasoning. We got a smoked sausage plate no where on the menu did it say it was a spicy link of sausage. My wife couldn't eat it do to the spicey level The Mac and cheese consisted of no seasonings. The brisket was half dry and half moist. Coleslaw was bitter and sweet. Not even worth a critique. But the potato salad was the most disgusting dish I ever had. The potato's were raw I mean fresh out of the bag raw. I wouldn't serve that to any prisoner in jail. When I told told the lady behind the bar about the potato salad she gave me a look as if this has happened before Sorry I am a foodie. I eat with my eyes first and it looked good. But the taste of the food don't even make the minor leagues. I always say you have once chance and one chance only to impress a guest. Well I would never recommend your establishment. I think you need to teach your staff/cooks about basic seasonings and how to make sure things are full cooked like potato's before serving them to people. I've been cooking for over 35 years and I've profected my recipes to every last detail. So I hope you take my review to improve thank you...

This place, from the outside, looks a little like a tourist trap, but the food was really good. We all enjoyed our meals. I got the salad with the smoked chicken, the kids menu was good and for the Mac and cheese, it was the same as the side of mac and cheese rather than Kraft for the kids and the good stuff for everyone else like other places do. My husband got the brisket and he is very picky about his brisket. He said it was exactly how it should be. The baked beans have a very unique flavor to them, almost like chili or even minestrone soup. So yummy! Their beer selection was good also. We got the local stuff and were very happy with that choice. We also did some of the touristy things, we played with the shooting gallery and panned for gemstones. Our 6 year old loved it. He had so much fun and we really enjoyed watching him have so much fun with it. The yard was super nice too, great atmosphere. There was Cornhole, table tennis, tables to eat at, couches to sit on and relax, music playing, and some other yard games to play also. We definitely recommend going here to eat or to just sit with friends and relax. The food, drinks and atmosphere are...
