Restaurant Carot — Restaurant in Hội An

We went to Ca Rot for dinner last night. We ordered a standard banh mi, banh xeo, morning glory, and fried shrimp rolls. The flavor of the banh mi was good, but the there wasn’t a lot of fillings in it. Mostly meat and very few vegetables. I would not get a banh mi here again. The banh xeo was also just okay. Crispy but very, noticeably greasy. We wish they’d had herbs with them, like we’ve had at other places. The fried shrimp rolls and morning glory were good. The customers were split about 60/40 between locals and tourists.

Now I did hear that because of the flooding it’s harder to get fresh vegetables, so that’s why I still gave four...

We loved the food here so much we ate here two times during our stay! The chicken rice was excellent - we were disappointed when we ordered chicken rice from another restaurant in town so we returned here the next day.
