why haven't you been here yet ??? I just came here for dinner 2 days ago and have some feelings as follows About the space: cozy, luxurious, suitable for dating Food: I ordered the dishes recommended by the owner such as mango salad with shrimp, Hue spring rolls, stir -fried beef with bamboo tubes, duck coconut, 2 portions of mango ice cream. Every table was offered shrimp wings at the beginning of the meal. I am quite picky but when eating here, I found it very good. Mango salad is not too sour, very tasty 9/10. Otherwise, it is normal, not too excellent 7/10. The dish I found most delicious is stir-fried beef with bamboo tubes, stir-fried with black pepper, very attractive, stir-fried beef is cooked until tender and juicy 10/10. The roasted duck dish is served in a coconut, looks very cute, the staff lit a fire to surprise everyone 9/10. The dessert was mango sticky rice ice cream, which was quite similar to what I ate in Thailand. I wish I knew the recipe at this restaurant because when I ate it, it felt very special. The fatty taste when eaten with coconut milk was 1000 points.

Service: the staff were very dedicated and professional, always smiling. Cold towels are free . Staff gave instructions from beginning to end on how to eat the dishes to make them most delicious. When the restaurant was crowded, I accidentally dropped my spoon, thinking no one would like it, but someone ran over and gave me a new spoon right away, which made me feel very sympathetic. The year-end party also gave me and my patner 2 more cups of tea.

When I went to the restaurant, it was a bit crowded and my experience is that everyone should book a table in advance to get the best table. The table next to my house had a birthday and also got a cake, so it was very suitable for any special occasion. My patner praised the food and found it very funny. I will enjoy the price...

My family & I were excited to dine at Essence Restaurant. We were happy we made a prior reservation and were seated at a very comfortable table. The Restaurant is located on the 9th Floor of Aira Boutique Hotel. The ambience is elegant & relaxed for fine dining. The young restaurant team is friendly, super attentive & warm. We went there craving all things "Duck" and were gastronomically delighted. Their Smoked Duck salad was cooked to perfection & was fresh and succulent. Their Spring Rolls with their dipping sauce were super refreshing & divine. Their Duck in Coconut Southern Style Spicy was served with flair & tasted heavenly with tender Taro & fluffy Steamed Rice. My heart yearns to go back for some more. For dessert Their Sautéed Banana with butter, orange & rum was heavenly. Their Creme Brulee was smooth to perfection. Happened to perchance mention that we were there to celebrate our daughter's 25th Birthday & the entire Restaurant Team surprised us with a decorated pastry plate & candle, gathering around to sing with such warmth. We started our Vietnam trip in Hoi An at the Aira hotel there and because of the experience, the staff and the breakfast buffet there, decided to book the Aira for our stay in Hanoi. My stay here in Hanoi at Aira as been equally wonderful in most part because of the staff at the Essence Restaurant. The restaurant is on the 9th floor of the hotel with big windows that look out onto Hanoi. It is where breakfast is served for hotel guests and it's a great way to start the day. The buffet is full of local dishes and wonderful options. As I was here for a week, it was a pleasure to see Ninh's smiling face every morning. She is so lovely and kind and it was really special when she remembered I liked iced Vietnamese coffee! The restaurant is also open for lunch/dinner and the local Vietnamese dishes are really good. Coming for lunch one day, I connected with Huong who shared lychee (which is currently in season!) with me from where she lives. Thank you Ning and Huong - it is you I will remember!
