Vyhlídka - Střelecký Ostrov — Local services in Prague

This is a lovely little island of the bridge and a perfect place to escape from the busy streets. Stunning views of St Charles bridge, the Prague water front and the castle. There are pay to use WCs and places to get food and drink. There was a little music festival on here one day with small food and drink vendors and live music on stage. It only takes 15 minutes to walk all the way around on an easy footpath. Plenty of birds and ducks knocking about but the stars of the island are the Nutria/Coypu who love walking up to you to see if you have food. Very cute little creatures who draw...

A nice spot to stop and see the ducks, swans and other birds plus the nutria/coypu. They are large rodents that look like beavers crossed with rats. They are VERY tame, worryingly tame. People feed them and encourage them over, however they are rodents and they do go around with rats so I’d not recommend...
