Craftbeer Corner — Attraction in Cologne

This place has the by far best selection of beers in all of cologne. What's not to great is one of the owners: I ordered a flight of beers at the bar. I sat down and waited. Waited a bit more. Then, about 5 minutes later, I saw one of the two owners put down a flight of beer at a different table at the other end of the pub. About ten minutes later, that same owner came over to the table, took that same flight of beers, briefly went out of sight, then seconds later went over to me and put it on my table - he obviously put it on the wrong table, but pretended he just poured me a nice fresh batch of beers. One of the beers was obviously already tried by the people from the wrong table - I pointed this out, he took the flight away and returned - having refilled only that one beer. Sorry, I get that craft beer is expensive - but it's not only expensive for you, the owner, but also to me, the customer - so having a flight of beers in front of me, which might have been tried by other customers, and which are definitely now flat because they sat out for a quarter of an hour, is an absolute no go. I will never visit this place again. Mistakes happen - that's ok. But then just own up to it and serve fresh, untouched beer. It's not...

The bar is a bit hidden in a very quite street. It has a nice urban terrace that is only open until 22:00, the inside of the bar is rather traditional to the local bar culture of Cologne, BUT the Craft Beer Selection is huge, with both tap beer and bottles.

The average beer price is a bit high, the tap beer list changes every two weeks (i think) wich makes it very interesting to go back and check what's new.

The (few) times that i was there, it was rather quiet, wich makes it very comfortable if you just wanna have a chilled time with friends a try lots of different beers.

They have a wide selection from smaller and misterious brewerys, the selection is way different that the offers you can find in other craft beer places like 'Museum of the Beer' and the belgian Kiosk on the Belgisches Viertel.

In my opinion, the bar lacks a selection of snacks, as it would be better to eat something on the side while drinking high percentage beers, even if this would...

This bar is excellent if you're looking for locally brewed Cologne or German craft beer. 100% worth visiting if you can make it.

Everything we sampled was delicious, interesting and was of high quality. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, they took their time to help me and my friends choose beers that we would enjoy, despite our divergent tastes.

The bar is as clean (or cleaner) than any other bar in the area and has a chilled vibe with good music and super friendly regulars who are great for an awesome chat about beer or random semi-drunken tangents.

Other recent negative reviews cough Etienne cough should be completely ignored! He/they must have drank too much low quality mass produced beer at some other place and accidentally reviewed the wrong bar. It's the only explanation I can imagine, as this place is great and it really is the best craft beer bar...
