My review in three parts. All included in the Peak Pass.
Sunnegga Funicular Enter via a very long tunnel and then take an elevator. Next walk to the entrance to the funicular. If you have a Peak Pass, the funicular is included.
Go all the way up to the upper cars if you want to see a view of the tunnel, but honestly nothing really to see. Entirely underground.
In the evening felt a little unsafe in the tunnel, something felt nowhere else in Zermatt.
Sunnega to Blauherd cable car.
After getting off the funicular follow the signs to Sunnega to Blauherd cable car. The cable car is fairly nice and scenic. We enjoyed it.
Blauherd to Rothorn.
After getting off the cable car, follow the signs to the Rothorn gondola. This is a large 28-perdon gondola that goes all the way up to 12000'+ on the top of the...
Read moreBeginner Friendly! I took my very first ski lesson here and this location is very accommodating. I recommend booking a lesson and paying only $22 for the training area. If you feel comfortable enough, you can later pay the full $100+ for desired slopes. My friends are more skilled and had a great time on the more extreme slopes. Equipment rentals are pretty easy in town, recommend paying the $15 for a taxi to hotel or a locker at the lift to avoid lugging...
