I have used the Anderson store twice for repairs on my MAC laptop and their communication sucks. It always takes longer than they say it will, they never call you back when they say they will, they don't keep notes about the conversations you have when you call them or the services you've authorized, then they go ahead and do major work (because they don't keep any notes and don't bother to call you back when they say they will). So you try to call and get hung up on, try to call back several times and it's busy. Wait a few more days and finally get thru and say the tech told me he was going to call me 2 days ago after he checked the cable and the receptionist tells you he replaced the hard drive (which you had told him you weren't sure you wanted to do) and it's been sitting there ready for pick up but nobody called you about that either and oh by the way you owe us more money... Sooo I was of course really irritated and I told her I had not authorized the replacement of the hard drive and the tech had said he would call me etc and I wanted to make sure that I got my original hard drive back because I was going to research if there was a way to recover any of the data. She said she'd have to talk to the tech and would call me back on Monday (3 days later). So I get a call and she says we put your old hard drive back in and we are keeping your deposit! So they basically held my laptop hostage and screwed me out of my money because they don't know how to keep notes or communicate with people....

The price was more than reasonable, turn around time for repairs was right on the spot to the estimated date of repair was. The person working seemed to be annoyed he was there. On both dropping off and picking up. To be clear he was not rude or anything. Could just be a difference of personalities. Had my son with me when dropping off his computer that was damaged and he didn’t instill very much confidence in the repair or give any type of reassurance that they would try their hardest to get it his most valued possession (he is only 11) repaired. I work in customer service so my opinion may be biased. Would have given 5 stars but I can’t get past my perceived lack of human compassion of the person behind the counter. Read moreWas very disappointed in the service, I had a almost new Asus gaming laptop used a handful of times, I got a registy error, was told I need a fresh windows OS install, took it home it was still not fixed charged me 120.00. Was told it was a bad hard drive, found that hard to believe considering I only used it a handful of times , had the hard drive checked there was absolutely nothing wrong with the hard drive, they wanted to charge me 150.00 for a new hard drive I didn't need. Soo I took a chance went to best buy, bought a Windows 11 OS that came with a USB, for 139.00 took it home and was able to install it, my computer is now working perfectly.
