I was supposed to get a haircut. Ulta has no stylists sk i went here. I chose "Top Barber". The Top barber was busy and was nice enough to offer another barber so I said sure. I look around and this guy top barber pointed to, and he was in his chair texting. I waited but was confused because he just sat there just looking at his phone, and also just talked to another guy, and back on his phone. All I wanted was an under shave, my hair is thick and hot, I even split it up before leaving to tell whomever going to cut it how low or high I want to go. I'm not sure if they just stereotyped me or the one guy is out of his mind, but eventually it went on long enough I left. There was even one guy who signed after me who got service as i was sitting there. Which he must have signed up with another guy, but still. I was just ignored and eventually I left. There were other barbers and no one offered to jump in while I was sitting on the bench ALONE. It was time I could have spent with my daughter and partner and an undershave could have went quick, that's how long I sat there....waiting. screw this place. I was also just going thru stuff too and this just made me feel worse. I'm glad my baby girl made me feel better otherwise......who knows what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was visiting the mall of America and decided to go to this place based on a quick look at the reviews. When I checked in I was told that there are 10 people in front of me, looking around I saw 8 barbers working so I thought I should be sitting with one of them in half an hour or so. Soon I realized I was wrong and finally after complaining twice one of the guys accepted to take me in...this was after 65-70 minutes waiting (sitting on the steel benches and tortured with the loud noise of 4 TV's above my head showing the same thing). I also noticed that some of those barbers take people who have never checked in which was the obvious reason it took more than an hour for me to get a spot. Some of these guys spent so much time on someone's head but when my turn came, I was done in less than 10 mins and the result was one of the worst haircuts I've ever had. I could have had a much better haircut at one of the franchise places with almost half the money I spent there.
Overall I felt tired, frustrated, ripped off and somehow insulted coming out of this place. One of my worst...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am a client passing through Minneapolis, I was hesitant in getting a haircut at a mall barbershop as barbershops at a mall have a negative rating. I was in desperate need of a haircut and caved in. I had the experience of getting a haircut by a gentlemen by the name of, Alex. Alex Does not know how to perform a basic fade. He is very heavy handed on the clippers. I have several cuts to prove it. I asked for a high fade and and a little of the top. At no point in time did I ask for a line up, nor did Alex ask if I wanted one. Alex came inches away from having my widows peak removed from my forehead. Common curtosey, ask for a lineup. Please let the record show, I used an image of what I wanted my hair to look like, what I got in return was so far from the image. Do. Not. Book. Alex. The most disappointing part of this experience was not the haircut, it was the look of embarrassment I receive from other the other barbers. They all knew I walked away from that shop with a terrible haircut, but said nothing. Best...
