My recent venture to the Tanger Outlet Stores in Branson, MO, was met with anticipation, fueled by the promise of hundreds of brands and unbeatable value. However, the reality painted a somewhat different picture. While the outlet boasts an extensive array of stores, the pricing strategy left much to be desired. Contrary to expectations of finding bargains at every corner, the high price tags were more reminiscent of premium shopping experiences rather than outlet deals.
It appears that many stores within the outlet have adopted a strategy that prioritizes inventory over customer affordability, assuming perhaps that scarcity and exclusivity might drive sales. This approach, while it may hold appeal for some, does not align with the traditional outlet shopping ethos of great deals on every rack. The potential for a better shopping experience is overshadowed by pricing that seems to deter rather than attract the average bargain hunter.
Despite these criticisms, it's only fair to acknowledge the outlet's strengths. The cleanliness of the premises, the friendliness of staff, and the well-organized parking are all commendable traits that enhance the shopping experience. Tanger Outlet in Branson, MO, stands as a destination in its own right, offering a pleasant environment for those who visit.
However, the essence of outlet shopping—securing deals that feel like a steal—is somewhat lost here. The rarity of finding genuine bargains among the many stores and sought-after brands was a notable disappointment. This sentiment led us to explore alternatives such as Amazon for our shopping needs, where deals were more readily available.
In reflection, while the Tanger Outlet Stores score highly on ambiance, cleanliness, and customer service, achieving a 5 in these areas, the core expectation of exceptional value is missed. For many brands within the outlet, revisiting the balance between quality and affordability could enhance their appeal and truly deliver on the outlet's promise of unbeatable value. As it stands, shoppers seeking deep discounts might find themselves navigating a sea of inventory with only the occasional island of deals. The bathrooms...
Read moreA young man at famous footwear was very nice and professional at Tanger Outlet Branson. He had unusual hair but was very pleasant. A young blonde woman whose legs were ripping through her jeans told us they didn't carry MUKLUKS for women. We did search the store and found that they did and even found the right size for my mom! The young woman was more interested in who was looking at her bursting from her jeans it seemed. Even when the young man had several customers piling up she would stand and flip her hair to be noticed. Oh well didn't really mess up my night. The guy at CVS pharmacy had purple and green hair in kinda a Mohawk design. Just hair I guess. I'm a little old fashioned. 51 years old. Retired Marine. Grandfather first! I guess I just hoped for things to be less "youth gone wild." I live here since retiring after 24 years from the Marine Corps. I am a CHRISTIAN and married to my first, one and only love of 30 years! GRUNT STYLE looked interesting , me being a military man and all but as we approached she was closing the store at barely 615! Oh well. Went home with my beloved and we split a pizza and a bottle of Perrier. Cheers! Happy Holidays and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS to you mall crawlers like me! SEMPER...
