Loca on Main — Local services in Fredericksburg

We shopped for hours and went completely up and down the entire street and into every single store. This boutique is hands down the best one. They had the largest selection of in style, blouses, and jeans at affordable prices.

To give you an idea for what I mean for "affordable" is that most of the boutiques were selling things for $80-$200+ or their clothes were incredibly low quality for $24-$50. This boutique, however, is selling well-made clothes for $35-$60 a piece. I got 4 tops for $130ish. Making their pricing on par with what you find at boutiques in non-tourist towns.

The boutique was clean and well staffed. Despite the long lines at checkout, the lines were moving quickly. They had staff that were constantly fixing merchandise to ensure a pleasant experience.

They also have the extra detail of giving reusable bags for your merchandise at checkout.

This is one of the few stores that I was able to take a stroller into and navigate with relative ease. The stroller even fit inside the fitting room!

They also had a decently, large plus size section. Most boutiques only have a small rack if anything. However, people should keep in mind because boutiques source from several vendors that the sizing is different on all the clothing items. I currently wear a size 12 and bought a small and 2 medium blouses and an XL shacket. My MIL is a 14. She got 2 mediums and 3...

Visited this shop on Saturday and found a set of silky pajamas on a good sale. But tonight, after only two wears, they had threads hanging off, and I discovered that a four-point seam in the shorts has come undone, so now there’s a hole! The pajamas were packaged so that they clearly hadn’t been worn/tried on, so I haven’t even washed them yet, but I suspect when I eventually do they’ll come apart even more. Extremely disappointed! My only consolation is that they were on sale, because I would’ve been furious if I’d paid their regular price (over $60!) and had this happen. Be very cautious about spending money here; while their prices are boutique, the clothes are apparently the same fast fashion junk you’d find at...

Great little boutique on main that actually has some more affordable pieces. Like the $30 blouse and $25 hat I got!

They have a great selection of women’s clothing in all sizes. Cute little changing rooms and while masks are required, they still let you use them even in Covid times! Yay.

Friendly staff. I’d definitely come back here again.

Accessibility is tight if you are in a wheel chair.
