My hub and I stopped in there after an early show at the midland last night…around 7pm. We thought it would be great to grab dinner, dessert and a couple grocery items before heading home. We started my asking for a couple of items from the dessert cases. I decided I should go to the bathroom before finishing shopping and heading home. I asked the bakery person where the restroom was. She pointed and said right by customer service. I gave my hub the shopping basket and told him to start shopping for our other items and I’d find him after the bathroom trip. The bathroom hallway was blocked with a cleaning cart and said “restrooms closed.” - when I asked the woman at customer service “is the restroom being cleaned and will it be open soon?” She remarked “it’s closed” - I asked again “will it be reopened soon” and she said again “its closed” - I asked “will it be open again later?” And she said “it’s closed” - I then asked “is it always closed?” And she said “yes”
It was so annoying and rude. I was buying food and groceries, I was 100% sober, I was dressed nicely. Honestly, if I’m a customer and not hurting anyone my last two mentions shouldn’t even matter, but I provided the info for context.
Whether it matters to cosentinos or the woman at customer service or not, I told my husband we were not spending our money there!! We left our basket at the front and walked out. (It’s quite possible they lost money bc the items were refrigerated and boxed from the bakery cases and we left them sitting I refrigerated due to their rude attitudes) While if wasn’t more convenient for us, we called in a Togo order to the Tavern at Mission Farms where we picked up our much more delicious dinner, friendly service and an open bathroom.
Recommended to Cosentinos - if you’re closing the bathroom to paying customers, post that very obviously and ensure ALL of your employees are in the same page! Ie…someone at the bakery shouldn’t tell a customer where to go to use the restroom while one at customer service says you can’t use it and it’s closed. I could be wrong…but I thought there was some sort of law that you have to have a restaurant if you’re serving food! Even if it’s not a law, it’s basic decency and customer service! We will never be back. I used to grab a few things when I had a reason to be downtown or at Posh, but...
Read moreI love this store all around usually everytime and usually with every employee. But I give the majority of staff 5 stars and I was completely humiliated by the African American woman working in the chocolates and gelato area last night so 4/3/22 around 8 pm . She completely ignored my presence, then when she came over from doing something that’s not customer related she then says “yeah ?” I began to excitedly order my chocolates and was so pleased that is reminds me of Dean and Deluca where I hadn’t been in ages and would get chocolates similar to what I was seeing. So I was asking some questions and telling her about that at the same time and she was basically answering them very shortly not very explanatory and irritated not a smile on her face which my friend with me noticed more so than I did I was just excited to get the chocolates. But then she says “you know how much these cost right I don’t know if you can get all these.” Which I said yes I can see the price right here on the sign in front of my face it says clear day and I’m gonna want some more than what I’ve told you so can I please go on with my order and the nicest possible way I was not rude to her at all my friend was taking back by that because she said she would’ve been very rude back to her but I don’t do that. Then as before I was leaving I see the gelato so I have to then flag her down from doing nothing and she takes her time again to come over and asked me “what I needed now??” Told her I would like some gelato And she gave me the tiniest little thing did not fill the cup and I was just so insulted she didn’t say one word to me not a thank you no smile nothing I just felt like she didn’t want me there she didn’t want me ordering anything she just wanted me to leave the whole time..,I was never so insulted at the store and unwelcome feeling.please do...
Read moreI am writing this complaint to bring to your attention a deeply distressing and hurtful incident that occurred during a recent interaction with Kelly Danner. As a customer of Price chopper, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, but unfortunately, my experience with Kelly was anything but.
During our encounter, Kelly displayed an unprofessional and disrespectful demeanor. Her words were laced with condescension and hostility. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and understanding, she chose to verbally assault me, disregarding my perspective entirely. In front of everyone, raising her voice for all to hear.
As a customer, I believe that I have the right to voice my concerns without fear of retribution or humiliation. However, my encounter with Kelly left me shaken and doubting my decision to continue supporting Cosentino’s.
The impact of her hurtful behavior extends beyond that single interaction. It has affected my confidence in your company and tarnished the otherwise positive experiences I have had in the past. I can no longer view Price Chopper as a reliable and customer-centric entity when one of its managers Kelly exhibits such unprofessional conduct.
I want to emphasize that I am not seeking to undermine Kelly but rather to address this incident as a serious matter that warrants attention and resolution. No customer should ever be subjected to verbal abuse or mistreatment.
I sincerely hope that Kelly takes this complaint seriously and takes appropriate actions to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
As a loyal customer, I believe in the potential of Price Chopper to provide exceptional service and experiences. However, my trust in this organization has been severely shaken.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to receiving your...
