Sunday’s horseback ride with Red Pine Adventures was a great experience! I haven’t gone horseback riding since I was a teenager. Definitely wanting to go more often! One of my favorite things to do, no doubt!

We went through the mountains with great views and spots that were downhill and uphill. We saw a deer that the guides named that wasn’t scared of the horses or people. The deer was just chilling there, laying down, but in a somewhat hidden location. I’ve never seen a dear just laying down without wanting to leave and get away from people. The horses and guides knew the trails well and said that just a few months ago the water was rushing through different areas. On this ride at the beginning of September we did ride nearby some water where you could hear and see it for a short bit of time.

Our horses, Oreo & Jaws, were wonderful!! Jaws was the bigger one who always tried to eat grass and both him and Oreo had great personality. Oreo likes to test you at first, but he was a great listener and eventually stopped testing his boundaries. Oreo had one blue eye and one brown eye. At the end when I spent time saying bye to Oreo, he rubbed against my face several times and was so loving.

They have great horse options for all types of riders, including beginners and smaller horses for children. The guide had one of the kiddos who was less experienced on one of the smaller horses, but she was safely placed at the front of the line with the guide who also held onto the horse by an extra rope for extra safety.

Overall, this was well worth it and a great experience. The team who works there were efficient, caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our rides per person were $150 each. The ride wasn’t short by any means, so it was...

Fellow pro equestrian review here - I own an Iowa stable and am visiting the area for the first time. I was thoroughly impressed by this outfitter and their care of the horses + routes. Horses all were shod with great feet, well fed, and had their own well-fitting tack in good condition that was checked multiple times by staff. Even their poops looked like they were healthy and well-fed. I agonized over reviews before I chose this place because my partner is a total beginner, and I have real trust issues putting someone I love on a horse I don’t know. ALL horses on this ride were well trained, sure-footed, careful, and kind. Not a single behavior issue and everyone was very safe…I told my partner when we were done that every one of them was worth a million dollars (because I believe it’s true and they’re clearly treated like they are!). The horses were saints, and safety was my biggest priority. The guides were very nice and helpful and genuinely took safety seriously. Helmets were available but not required, and the helmets and office were clean. The check in process was easy. Trails were a little dusty, so if dust bothers you, maybe toss a mask on - but I didn’t find it to be bothersome. Trails were beautiful and not easy - lots of fun ups and downs, stream crossing, a couple great views. This is a beginner, walking, nose-to-tail ride that I think even experienced horsemen can relax and enjoy. I’m highly impressed and really glad we chose to come here! The price tag of the ride is worth every single penny of the kind of horses, horse care, and staff...

CHOSE RED PINE!

For my birthday this year I wanted to ride horses- relive a few childhood memories and find a ride fun enough for adults. Living locally, I researched all of the stables, called a few and chose Red Pine.

Here’s why today’s ride was phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone: Friendly rangers and horses with great temperaments. Everyone was ready to have a good, energetic ride while eliminating the stresses that can come with horses. The ride was spectacular! The trail took you into the forest and along wide lookout paths. You felt adventurous while crossing streams and looking out over Park City while remaining on comfortable trails at all times. Priced great! Most other stables cost as much for a shorter ride. No boredom. When you think group horse ride you think slow trail walking, you falling asleep, the hour dragging by in boredom. This is their greatest achievement in my opinion!! The ride is incredibly engaging - you maneuver your horse through streams, trails surrounded by wild vegetation and up rocky slopes. They keep a nice pace and the terrain transitions so many times there is always a new challenge. Comfortable accommodations: not only do they spend extra time making you comfortable with your saddle, they also provide bags for personal belongings and water after the ride! Conveniently located near the highway. You aren't spending thirty minutes trekking to nowhere to get the same...

We booked a 9am snowmobiling adventure on a Saturday. When you arrive, you'll sign a waiver, get on any gear you need and then take a van to the gondola which takes you up the mountain where the snowmobiles are ready for you. After a quick briefing on how to operate the snowmobile, you'll head out in single file fashion. There are a few stops for picture ops and at the end you get a few straight away runs which was a blast. Staff was great! Friendly and knowledgeable. Your gondola lift ticket is included in the cost as is a helmet and any gear you may need but it's always best to bring your own (snow suit, waterproof footwear, goggles and gloves). Quick tip: I recommend going first thing in the morning because you get to be the first on those snowmobiling trails!
