Went for the Gondola ride with my daughter and wife on 31st December. There was a long queue, which took 25-30 mins, to buy tickets. Gondola ride (no skiing) tickets were very expensive around $75 per person due to holiday season. ( no ticket required for kids 4 years and below) Total ride took 8 mins to goto the top ( red pine lodge). It was a wonderful ride to the top with scenic view. Perfect spot for those who like to ski. Red pine lodge at the top is a restaurant with lot of food options. It was crowded due to holidays and a bit expensive, but taste was good. Overall we spent around 2-3 hours and enjoyed a lot.

This gondola ride is free in the summer if you have an Epic Pass for the upcoming ski season. Otherwise, the ride up is about $40 per person. There are a couple of nice hikes to explore at the end of this ride, with the Mid-Mountain trail being our favorite. Of course, during the winter time, this is one of the main lifts that gets you out of the Canyons base area to all of the world-class skiing Park City has to offer.
