Weve stayed here 3x before and had great experiences. We love the location and price so were looking forward to another nice stay. Theyve apparently got new owners though and thereve been changes, not in the good way. Room was overall clean but there were sanitary pads (thankfully clean) over the vent holes by the door. Not sure if from previous guests or what. Only 2 pillows per bed and they were super flat. They had more at front desk but they werent much better. Guests 2 doors down were blasting music during the day with their door wide open and nothing was said to them. Thankfully they turned it off at night. Friends who had their own room on the same floor as us woke up the 2nd night to their room reeking of cigarette/weed smoke, coming from the bathroom vent. All that was done was deodorizer sprayed in room and a promise the ones responsible would be made to leave. Came back that evening, their room still reeked and those smoking like that were still there. Our friends ended up leaving to find another hotel and were told the property couldn't give them the refund right then and there that they had to call some number. I could be wrong but the 2 rooms causing the issues seem to be more of long term guests (possibly workers for the renovations going on based on others reviews) and the owners seemed to be in no hurry to take care of the issues, maybe cause theyd lose out on that money. Youll lose out on way more money by allowing that mess to continue, running off all your decent clientele. I have no plans to ever stay here again after this experience

When we booked this hotel, from the pictures it seemed decent enough for our 1 night stay. When we got there , it was nothing like the internet showed. First thing we noticed was the amount of people smoking around the entire place. We had a non-smoking room , but there were ash trays outside of every room. The only place you don’t smell smoke is inside your room. I wish there were only certain areas for that, so we didn’t have to be swallowed in the smoke the entire time. The second thing was the carpeted floor was absolutely disgusting. We let my daughter walk around the room while getting settled in. We then noticed how dirty her feet became. The picture doesn’t even show how black they looked. I ended up putting socks on all of us. But then it turned our socks nasty. Lastly there were cigarette burns in the comforters on our beds. It just seemed like one thing after the other. The internet said this was a kid friendly place but it definitely wasn’t. The location is nice because it’s right on the strip and there is a cute river behind it. Other than that there is nothing really good about this stay. It’s safe to say We won’t be staying here again . Not good for a family vacation stay.

First off, I've gotten over 8 emails and/or text messages about leaving a review even though it's been almost a month since my stay. I tried to call the front desk after I left but got no call so after the multiple messages asking me to review I decided to go ahead. I stayed at this location a little over three years ago and it was great. Cheap, great location and friendly staff. It wasn't perfect but it was fine so I decided to book another night just recently. The staff was friendly again but after getting into my room and looking around I saw trash left, hairs on the towel and a musty smell in the entire room. It was just one night so I figure no harm can be done. I go to sleep with my fiance around 11pm and about 5am I wake up to hives all over my legs and discover that there's now bed bugs on top of everything else so we packed up and left at 5am. This is also the story of how I learned I'm allergic to bed bugs. Pics attached of the bed where a bug is visible and the aftermath left on me. Hopefully this review stops the messages I've been getting for a month. Highly disappointed in the quality of the room, especially for a staff that was so kind.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times. I am having to simply revise a previous review as Google will not give me the option to write a whole new review. Unfortunately after giving it a 5 star review in the past we arrived for an August 2023 visit to find new owners and need for a one star review. The room prices had increased by at least 25% while the quality went down by about 75%. Our room this time could easily be counted as one of the worst rooms we have ever stayed in. We had a view of a solid wall. One of our lamps would not work unless we physically plugged and unplugged it. Another lamp would not work at all. At one point we picked up the non working lamp in an attempt to get it to work and it was obvious maid service never picked it up to wipe down the table beneath it. One had to slam a shoulder against the door to get it to open. The bathroom had rust and an extremely water damaged sink cabinet. There was no working outlet in the bathroom. And it was one of the only hotels I have ever been to that did not provide a hair dryer or an iron/ironing board. These new owners need a serious lesson in the hospitality business. Previous owner was the founder and unfortunately passed away between the visits. Apparently they have no system for identifying repeat guests because I could not imagine giving a repeat customer what may have very well been the worst room on the place. I advised the lady at the front desk of the problems with the room and she gave me her number to call in for a good rate during our next PF trip. Unfortunately if this room speaks to the condition of the rest of the hotel, I have no interest in ever staying here again. Such a shame as, up until this last stay, we've always been pleased with the cleanliness and condition...

Our stay at the Tennesse Mountain Lodge was mostly good. The staff were all very polite and friendly, and our room appeared to be clean. There were no weird stains on the sheets or anything like that. We had a room right across from the river and geese almost at our door, so that was nice. Most of the attractions were within walking distance, though the road could be hard to cross at times. They have a pool out front, but the gate was locked, so we didn't use it, but I'm sure the staff would have unlocked it if we asked. They also share a nice heated indoor pool with the hotel next door, which we did use. Parking was easy and practically right in front of our room. When our remote didn't work, the man behind the counter didn't hesitate to fix the problem and gave us a whole new remote. There is no coffee maker, but we weren't too concerned about that. There was a microwave and a mini fridge though. Now here is the part I was hoping I wouldn't have to add, but I think people need to know. The only bad thing about our stay was the fact that we woke up at about 1:30 in the morning because we were being bitten by something. After a thorough investigation, we found, yup, bed bugs. We tried to go to the front desk to ask for another room, but the door was locked and no staff was on duty, so we spent the night in our car. We told the man in the morning about our problem, and he told us he would be sure to have someone check into it, so hopefully he will, and this problem can be avoided by others. Besides that, however, the room was nice and clean, and the staff...
