Pigeon River Pottery — Local services in Pigeon Forge

This is one of my husband and I's favorite stores in Pigeon Forge. So many houseware items: sinks, pitchers, planters of all sizes, bacon cookers, grease jars, every kind of alcohol tumbler (wine, cognac, tequila, bourbon, scotch). Tea sets, dish sets, soap dispensers, casserole dishes, more items than I can name in many glaze colors, shapes and sizes. Hand carved and painted mantels, homemade soaps, and more gifts. It is pricey, but it is beautiful pottery and art. Definitely stop by for a mug or soap dispenser if nothing else.

I think after 12 everyday you can watch the potters at their wheel throwing mugs and what not which is entertaining. This is in the nice location with other candy stores and shops on Little Pigeon River at the great Patriot Park. Definitely visit this section of the Pigeon Forge strip.

One complaint: On our last visit, the two ladies running the register were talking very loudly for attention which was the only unpleasant part...

This is one heck of a great store, many cute pottery items, look no further for finding a set of dishes or decoration to go in your home, this store should be especially valuable to an interior decorator or if you want to get some nice things for the home, if not, check inside anyway, it's a kind of store that serves as an attraction as well. The store has, on at least the day I was there, workers who sculpt clay before your eyes, me and my mother struck up conversation with one of them while he worked. This store compliments the Old Mill Pottery House and Cafe Grill and features a huge variety of beautiful, hand made pottery for purchase. There are pitchers, vases, bowls, cups, pieces of art, platters and plates... just beautiful one of a kind Artisan pottery that is hand thrown and glazed.

I've purchased a cookie jar and set of mugs that were marked down. Every time we are in the area we stop here and I look through the store. It's full of color and pieces of art. Many of the dishes they use in their restaurants can also be found here...
