You know what? I've been coming to Flemings restaurant for YEARS and I have NEVER been so disappointed in the service AND the food! I have come here for many, MANY birthday's and special occasions, we have even brought our entire family of FOUR GENERATIONS (60 people) to celebrate our father's 80th birthday. Three years ago this place was absolutely amazing which is why I always picked this restaurant for my birthday. Out of all the steak restaurants, this was my favorite. September 28th was my birthday and again, I chose Flemings. However, this birthday was probably my last. I had been given a $50 off voucher for my birthday and I forgot it. This was personally from Allison the manager. I told the waiter about it and that I had a photo of it to prove it. (Because everyone was asking me where I was going for my birthday) He said "sorry, gotta have it to use it." Now, most waiters would have said let me check with the manager, but he didn't. I don't believe a manager was even there actually, which should never be the case. Also, it was 7:30 and there were only about 4 tables being served in the whole place so you would think everything would be taken care of promptly, but no. The waiter even had another person that would be "assisting" him to help out. Well, he only came once. The staff were on their phones , laughing and talking , or just walking around doing nothing, instead of taking care of customers. The time it took to get service was ridiculous. Finally, when making the order, I asked if I could have one of the special steaks from the fall menu with no goat cheese, because I don't like it, and asked if I could have another type instead , and he said, "sorry no substitutions allowed", and then said, "Why don't you just get another steak that doesnt have goat chese?" Let me remind you, most waiters would have said, let me ask the manager, and because they weren't busy, AND it was my birthday I thought surely it would be an easy request, but no. I also asked if he would make an exception for me to ask the manager if I could get the steak and lobster special that just ended 2 days before, and he said no. He took the wine menu without even asking even asking us if we wanted wine. We had to request to have it back. That took some time. Finally another person brought out the wine, she was nice, but she wasn't the wine specialist. We had asked her specifically because we had some questions. I ordered the crab cakes which are usually my favorite and they tasted like crab tuna fish . Really fishy and terrible taste. I had to send it back. The bread was very hard and tough, but the spreads were good. I ordered "another steak from the fall menu" with the blueberry sauce. The sauce was good but the steak came out charred. (like Pittsburgh style which I did NOT request). My husband and I split it and he likes it that way so I didn't say anything. Also the steak was over done. But why ask at this point right? Then it was dessert time. Almost all nice restaurants, even Mexican restaurants, give you a free dessert on your birthday. But NO. So, to my surprise when the bill came, there it was. I would have not ordered if I had known. There was nothing special about my birthday dinner. It took 2 and a 1/2 hours to be served with only 4 tables, and at least 4 servers avaliable that I could see. When you spend $300 on a meal, and its a special occasion, you expect it to be exceptional! Sadly, I no longer recommend this...

Read moreEvery single time we go to this mall, multiple escalators/elevators are not working. There is no excuse for constantly not having working escalators.
This mall has lost too many good stores & have been replaced by JUNK fast fashion. Few stores even carry clothes that comply with area school district dress codes.
Mgmt is so desperate to rent space that they have rented to a bar in front of the children's merry-go-round. Who thought that was a good idea? This mall also sports a tattoo parlor. Not knocking people who chose tattoos. This doesn't seem the place for it. I'm here to find clothes/shoes. There is little of that available here as it is.
There are way too many jewelry stores in this mall!
There are far too many harrassing kiosk which makes walking through this mall very annoying.
The food court could use a Subway, or other healthier food options.
10,000+ miles PAST time for this pet store to be closed. The STENCH is horrendous & stinks up that entire side of the mall. It supports puppy/kitten mills. Please adopt 1 of the 100's of pets available at shelters. How does Macy's, Torrid, Aunt Anne's Pretzels & other retailers on this wing put up with this stench? It is really that bad!
How is it Memorial City has better stores than we do here? Their JC Penny's rocks! Ours looks like a garage sale with 1 person working the entire store alone.
Overall, fewer & fewer reasons to go here...
