Dells boat tours open at 11 per website. We were sold a ticket and told the boat would be leaving in 4 minutes to get on line. When we arrived there was only one line and no announcement that the boat was departing. The jet boats leave from the same dock, and where the jet boat line was full, the lower Dells had chains across it. I tried asking others in line and they thought they had condensed lines and we're splitting off ahead. Staff all looked confused. Finally a ticket seller came out and said our boat already left and there wouldn't be another for an hour and a half. If I had known that was the next departure time we would not have bought a ticket as it was 85+ degrees and threatening to rain. Ticket person I dealt with had poor customer service skills. For an attraction that's been around for over thirty years you'd think they'd have their act together. We were able to get a full refund thank goodness. Arrive early and but your tickets in advance if you must. Original Ducks are same company but in my...
Read more(Ghost Boat) Boat tour was fun and the crew(for the boat) were all kind and supportive! Super nice and understanding especially the actors. I walked with my grandma and some of the crew who were apart of the attraction were walking with us and talking. I had a good time for being nervous at first and the boat ride was beautiful. It was good until we came up and saw the pictures. The person handed me the pictures and I took a picture of it not realizing I shouldn’t have. A young lady came up to me and ripped the pictures out of my hand and stormed off. I was in shock and was in disbelief! How rude and unprofessional. She could of told me to delete it or kindly said that I couldn’t do that. Ripping it out of my hand and then storming off because she was scared was so incredibly rude. The rest of the photography crew apologized for her actions. Thank you boating crew/actors for...
Read moreHIGHLY RECOMMEND! Hi there! I am new to Wisconsin and my sister and I were looking for something to do over the weekend. We found the Wisconsin Boat Tours and decided to give it a try. We took a bus to the loading dock and hopped on. We were greeted by the adorable and witty Abby who was the captain of the boat. We also met Lydia who was our tour guide and let me tell you, she knows how to crack some cheesy jokes. From the moment we stepped on the boat to the time we got off, we had a wonderful experience. We felt safe the entire time. We got off to walk through the Witch's Gulch and we decided to stay on the boat for the second walk. We sat and talked with Abby a bit and then we were on our way back! I learned so many new things about the state of Wisconsin and I will definitely come back with my...
