The Dells Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells

Upon showing up, the business was trying to close down 10-15 minutes before their advertised closing time. They had the door closed and locked, but their open sign was still on. We had to knock on the door for them to open and ask the staff if they were still open. They responded saying that they were still open. Upon politely asking 3 times if we were supposed to come in, nobody answered. I stared to walk in once she opened the door, then finally one of the two workers told me to not come in. They then started mocking me towards each other (which I found to be super unprofessional). The ice cream is pretty generic and the cone they provide had a very unpleasant texture. Perfect Riverside Ice Cream Spot!

What a hidden gem right here by the beautiful Wisconsin River! Some of the tastiest ice cream I’ve had in a LONG time! The location makes it even more special.

I ordered a scoop of creamy Salted Caramel Cold Brew 😋 in their home made crispy waffle bowl. Rich, smooth and super tasty. Loved the coffee taste and subtle caramel flavor.

Also a stunning overlook with boats floating by and lush greenery. The staff were very friendly and prices were reasonable for the generous portions. I returned later for a Lemonberry cone and that is definitely now my new favorite.

If you’re visiting Wisconsin Dells, do yourself a favor and grab some ice cream here. Highly recommend the waffle bowl - it’s a game...

Great little ice cream spot in the Dells! I tried a few different flavors, and the lemonberry sherbet was definitely the highlight — super refreshing and packed with flavor. The root beer float was also really good, classic and creamy(might not be for everyone though).

What I really liked was the atmosphere. You can sit nearby and enjoy your ice cream with a view of the river — super peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect treat, especially after grabbing lunch at Mexicali Rose just around the corner. Will definitely be coming back next time...
