We stayed in Hotel Barbora for 3 nights. The hotel is right under the castle and there are rooms with its view. We stayed in the main building (built in the 16th century, I believe) on the first floor. The room was clean, with a large tub in the bathroom. The free wi-fi worked OK all the time.||||Breakfast was generous, however, it was sometimes difficult to get some service. We haven't had dinner there - We tried, but when we sat in the restaurant for a couple of minutes and the waiter had passed several times without saying "hello" or "just a minute", we went somewhere else.||||Sleeping was difficult. The bed was OK, however, people were very loud at night in the street (no matter if it was 1am, 3am, or 5am), so it was impossible to open windows for some fresh air (we stayed during the hottest weather there). And the bad ventilation, the smell of the food from the restaurant kitchen reaches all the floors, luckily not the room. But we enjoyed our stay The Hotel perfectly suits Cesky Krumlovs...

(Possibly winter might be a solution?)||||The Barbora is a good place to stay.||A central, quaint, rambling hotel with large rooms, good views from the terrace - over the river and to the castle - and the ability to cope with bicycles. (We were on a cycling tour.)||||Their restaurant was fine, if not cordon bleu, and they actually had wholemeal bread at breakfast! You don't find that everywhere in Czechia... Actually, a good breakfast altogether, with lots of fruit.||||They didn't have someone at reception all the time so be...
